This track is for that one person, that single person in your life that keeps you going and pushing forward just so that you can hang on long enough to see them fall. We've all got that person, so listen to this song and take a minute to enjoy how much you hate them. You'll feel better for it.
I died when he got everyone running around in circles and i remember this one dude did something and frank started going off on him saying everything was his fault
I know your comment is eight years old. Nearly a decade... But i have to say, only Frank can write to the soul of a man. One other artist can rival Frank's lyricisms in my opinion, and that's Chester Bennington... He's dead and Frank ain't though
What an unforgettable moment it was for me to hear this song live for the first time in Florence, Italy ❤️ Such an energy, such a charisma! I don't even hate anyone but I felt so cool and free dancing to it! Grazie ancora
this song has been and will forever be really important to me. i used to be a very frustrated kid, my parents would fight all the time before they divorced and then i was left with my stressed out single mother who was trying to raise two kids and juggle two jobs by herself. things only got worse, i was a punching bag for my sibling until she moved out, and i was a less literal punching bag for my mother and stepfather. i was neglected, yelled at, criticized constantly and literally always ignored, i knew i was loved but i didn't feel like i was. i felt like as my parents that they owed me their love-their attention and support, that as my parents they should do better and treat me better and respect me for once, so i became very, very frustrated with them. a friend showed me this song, i cant remember why but she thought that i would like it. we aren't friends anymore, but that's besides the point. this song has helped me through so fucking much. im a very reserved person, im a quiet individual who suffers from trauma, dissociation, anxiety, and depression,, i'm not violent i rarely get pissed off and i've only ever yelled while upset once. I keep my issues to myself for the most part because of how my mom and stepdad were while i was growing up, i was never given any room to be myself around them so i never developed any solid social skills naturally but hearing this song? listening it on repeat and singing along with it years ago when i needed it most, it was therapeutic. this song has done so much for me, and i can't begin to express how happy i am that it exists everything, EVERYTHING about this track represents raw emotions that one may go through in life. it could be anything and it could be fleeting and unnecessary, but they're still feelings that matter. the very strumming of the guitar strings contribute so much to the attitude that this song holds it is an incredible thing. the chords couldn't have been played better, not to mention the vocals. the vocals are fucking incredible and the fact that this chap has a british accent only makes everything better. music is art, and this song is the finest example of that. it is the perfect thing to listen to that will help you release pent up, raw and pained emotions and i-i really appreciate that it exists. thank you so much frank carter & the rattlesnakes, thank you so much. i'm 19 now, turning 20 in september and my life has finally just started to get better after an intense november full of painful family drama that i thankfully was able to abruptly move out after. my life is ahead of me now and i couldn't be happier shit gets better always everyone remember that.
Here's to you, Mum. You pointed a knife at me and demanded I respect you, and I have not spoken to you in 3 years, and you will never talk to me again. You had your chances, and you will not get another.
Hatred of injustice drives the construction of better societies. Getting rid of it just makes people ambivalent to the pain of others. Hating evil is perfectly reasonable, and drives people to speak up against it.
I just discovered this...and it has never resonated more than at this point in my life. Holy shit - you don't know how much I needed to hear this right now. You just gave me hope to keep hanging on. I'll never forget this moment. Thank you
+xEnder686x Dude, it was not Frank. It was his peaceful and kind secret twin brother, Fred... Jokes aside, Pure Love was great as well, but this shit is the fucking bomb. I can't wait to see them live. Gonna be the best fucking concert of my life!
+M4RCi92 haha I know I'm just joking too, I actually really liked Pure Love. That was the first song I'd ever heard from them though and at first I was like, uhhhhh shit. lol
+M4RCi92 couldn't agree more, even the little notes (I imagine he's the one who wrote them) in the comments on a few of the songs are brilliant haha I feel like he could write a wicked cynical dark humor short novel.
+xEnder686x Yeah, he's very just down to earth. I'd behave just the same way he does if I were him. Fuck the ego. And also, I'd read that shit for sure.
A-fuckin-men, brother. Anger and sadness towards injustice and suffering also drive efforts to make our world a better place. They're also responsible for the creation of some of the most profound cultural works civilization has produced. those who don't have anger or sadness are just hollow.
Hate is such an epic emotion, it's a friend of love and your bitter sweet enemy. Hate fuels you. Makes you. Changes you. And breaks you. It's an ultimate emotion. We are possibly the only species to feel hate. A raw mutated emotion. Many animals don't discriminate. Hate is just that; it judges and pushes forward your own discriminate view of the world. Love your hate because it's one beautifully raw feeling.
Love playing this really loud indoors when my very anti swearing neighbours decide to be really noisy. Just play it on repeat for a hour or 2 even if I’m going out!
Yet again Frank Carter has struck Gold! I'm so glad to see your return, don't get me wrong Pure Love was awesome but I've always had an unspoken love for your earlier stuff. Can't wait to see you on the 24th October in Manchester, let's tear this shit apart!
Great tune. Just finding out about this band. I love the passion in this song. I think we all know someone who has inspired these kinds of feelings in us.
I NEED to see you at Ally Pally. Best band in so many years. You probably don't read these, but if you ever do, I hope you know that you helped me through the first year of my fatherhood. Long live FRANK FUCKING CARTER and THE RATTLESNAKES.
Holy fuck! i love that you are doing some unique and different stuff amongst the face-melting punk songs! This is shaping up to be the album of the year for me!
MASTERMONK The feeling of being able to look at yourself and feel this angry lets you know you've done nothing but try in life. but to you, and what has surrounded your mind is the feeling of not doing enough or well enough.. so how can you not feel this foul hate toward yourself. If this is just me. so be it. But it's all I seem to know and feel myself , yet you stride everyday with your chin held high... yes?
This song helps me so much when I’m feeling beaten down and pushed around and shoved between people and it makes me violently angry that they’re alive to do it to me. I fucking love you for writing it!
Just want to say, you guys were great at Leeds Festival at the Lock Up and I hope you go far. Fantastic crowd interaction and a top set, would definitely see again!
heres to me, and all the lines in this song i’ve heard before. yup, all those wonderfully creative insults - thanks dad - he’s apparently just as creative as the ones that wrote the song.
This song is so referencing someone that i hate. And this song really makes me think of an individual that abused me and punched, kicked, maimed, verbally abuse me and more that has left me with PTSD and certain things trigger me. This song has made me feel better about that individual and really expresses how i feel about them.
this fucking record is amazing, this is absolutely the next record I buy before I buy ANYTHING ELSE, 10 fucking stars, this is a perfect record , GREAT FUCKING JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Being screamed at and abused for my domestic partner for over a year now. Playing this loud enough for her to hear across the house while I drown my sorrows. Thanks for the jam we love it.
The person who showed me this song cheated on me twice in one week the first time I gave her another chance second time I kicked her out. I love hearing this song after a two years cause it makes me think of how happy I am now there Is hope and everyone reading this should know you are who you are and you are beautiful and loved by at least me have a wonderful day

Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes Upload lyrics, pleeeeeeeease :)
This song is awesome.
Sebastian Vasquez I need the lyrics so I can properly shout this at the people whom I hate. :)
Also for angry-music sessions.
Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes If I had a theme song, this would definitely be it.

This is truly a morning song , to be enjoyed with a large cup of hot black sugarless coffee !
Outstanding 😎👌
Another day another vendetta from Hatebreed is much better
How did you know what I’m doing??
This sounds so personal that this must be about a real person. Wouldn't want to be that person. Great stuff.
For my abusive dad who was the first and only man ever to break my heart and carried on up into my early 20s tormenting me and scaring me for life
Sometimes I'm so happy I don't know my father. But I'd kill to know if not knowing him was a good thing
❤❤ stay strong
fuck that guy. stay strong Lorraine.
The good news about guys like that is, they all can be drowned in a vat of piss.

Saw them play this at Reading last weekend. Got one side of the crowd to sing to the other in turns. Absolutely brilliant.
"Everyone give my mum the finger" haha
+Archie Jones it was the circle pit that got me. "I didn't realise how far that was. fuck."
Seren Stewart "I wanna do a lap of the stage" *5 minutes later* "Guys, I should not of done that" 😂

I dedicate this song to myself some days
Your comment made me cry
didn't see that one coming ! :) don't be so rude to yourself
So agree with you...
So sad.
Not sometimes...
I don't hate anyone. But I like the energy of the song :)
That's oddly wholesome and positive, you rock mate!
For me is perfect because I heta everyone

Sounds like they used a Tele neck pickup for pretty much the whole album
fucking sick!
So Fenderish!
Frank Carter has a real talent for writing music that I can relate to every bit of my life. This song is beautiful I love the guitar.
I know your comment is eight years old. Nearly a decade... But i have to say, only Frank can write to the soul of a man.

Having let go of hate a year or so ago,for reasons. I still appreciate the raw emotion that Frank gives us in this song.
Hatred of injustice drives the construction of better societies. Getting rid of it just makes people ambivalent to the pain of others. Hating evil is perfectly reasonable, and drives people to speak up against it.

Seen these in Pula supporting the Foo’s, they put on a hell of show, great band 👍
This song has reminded me of how important it is to maintain your anger. If you let go of anger, you begin to let go of a part of your humanity.
A-fuckin-men, brother. Anger and sadness towards injustice and suffering also drive efforts to make our world a better place. They're also responsible for the creation of some of the most profound cultural works civilization has produced. those who don't have anger or sadness are just hollow.
That guitar tone is hot.
Frank, you fucking rocked Reading. Hopefully seeing you in Brighton on the 18th of October. Best fucking performer out there.

Outstanding lyrics combined with beautifully simple guitar/drums. Fuck this is so good.
This song is perfection and I enjoy it every time I play it...a LOT x this is therapeutic tbh and a smashing song, love it
saw you and the Foo Fighters in Dublin it was damn heavy

Woah, this is the SOUND. Great job, good music for people that love simple music with a lot of style and with "cojones"
It makes me violently angry when I see you alive...Lyrical perfection

Saw them at Greenfield Festival, rather by accident. Best decision of the whole weekend, the gig was awesome! You've made a new fan, guys.

This went down so well live in Glasgow! Such a great tune, but not so great for the karma - as Frank said!

Got no one in my life I hate this much but on behalf of my friends who have gone through serious shit I appreciate the energy this song gives off.
I always said that the opposite of love isn't hate because the energy behind hate is passion. The true opposite of love is indifference.
"I'm so sick of singing about hate, it's never going to make a change.."
Hmm.
The dagger between your shoulder blades...wow awesome 😂😂
My English mate showed me this last night.
Fuck yeah I dig it.
Punk rock as fuck.

This song was awesome at Mighty Sounds 2016 in the Czech Republic! Frank and the band had an awesome performance.
Hermosa. Esta canción debería contar con un mayor número de visitas.
