What about policy to actually build things back up? To FIX the economy? On the path to recovery, all you’re laying out are short-term solutions that carry long term consequences. Regulating costs won’t FIX the market. It will just speed up the rate of which we burn through resources and will lead to job cuts.
After all of that, we will still be here, bleeding out through all other unregulated ends. This is why I am for small government and, inherently, anti-socialist. For the government to “fix” things this way, they have to puppet the entire market. I will never vote for that level of control.
