So sorry, I don’t know how I missed this comment! 😔 I think it’s because it was a response to another person’s comment and instead of a new comment so I didn’t see it until now. Are you asking the original person who commented or me? If you’re asking me, I definitely see results when I use it consistently. I try to use it daily or at least 3 times a week. I do find it’s better results when I use it daily though. Thanks for watching xxx

I’m wondering if this device works the same as the ZIIP or ZIIP halo? Both have microcurrent and the halo also has nanocurrent.

According to Dr. Shereene here in UA-cam (video from 5 days ago) the answer is yes but Ziip and Nuface are suppose to be wicker. I had the same question.

Hi Debra, I’m in the US and tried to buy via your link but it went to a dead page. 😢 I’m guessing this is because, like the UK website says, they don’t ship to the US. FG’s US website doesn’t sell them either which had me thinking they’re not approved for sale in the US so I reached out to someone at one of the local Facegym’s here in California, and they said they are no even allowed to use them in the gyms which has me a bit concerned as to why. I reached out to corporate to find out if there was some potential safety issue that had them stop using them in the US gyms because they masks were one of the most popular devices at the gym. I see other UK companies like Space NK, Selfridge’s and others. have them for sale that do ship to the US but I really wanted you to get commission for making such a great video.
Have you played around with those other settings? Given that they recommend not using it more than once a day, I would want to choose the one where I’m getting the most overall benefit, but it sounds like different settings, work different muscles or facial areas? This is rather confusing as I would think that any setting would work all the muscles it refers to in the literature regardless of what setting you choose. Did they explain the settings at all in the instruction manual? How would one even know which to choose, and whether you ought to vary them or not? I am specifically buying this to target noticeable sagging from marionette lines; One side is actually worse than the othe.. I don’t know if you purchased this device, or if the manufacturer sent to you to review, but if they did, and you are in touch with them, perhaps you could ask them about how we’re supposed to select the appropriate setting (not intensity) or what they would recommend for someone with sagging skin from marionette lines? Also, FaceGym’s UK website, and they currently have a mask on sale for 384 UK from 483 but it doesn’t mention that it comes with any serum like on some other websites where they do mention it. I’m not clear if they just failed to mention or they decided not to include the serum because it’s on sale almost 100 off? Thanks so much for your help and for a great, very informative video.

Hello, thank you so much for your kind gesture and for letting me know the link doesn't work. I've now updated the link so it should hopefully work!
It's very interesting that they don't sell it in the US. I wonder why. Has the US Facegym corporate team responded to your queries yet?
I have played around with the different settings, but I ultimately go back to the one that I am used to, which is setting one. I have also increased the strength because over time, I find it feels weaker. I'm not sure if it is actually weaker or whether I'm used to it, but there are days when it feels stronger sporadically.
I actually bought it with my own money. If I ever receive a free gift, I ensure I make it clear with an "ad" sign, and I mention it is gifted in my video. For the record, I rarely collaborate ☺️
As for the serum, I believe I received it as part of a package deal on NetaPorter. I believe Space NK provide the serum, but it is full price. I think Selfridges does not offer the serum due to the generous discount. Also, you do not need to use their serum. They say it's best to use theirs for maximum benefit, but I understand you don't have to. I believe you can use a water-based serum, and it should be fine, but if in doubt, just check with their customer service team.
Thanks so much for watching ❤️❤️❤️

@@theeditbydh hi there, yes, they did get back to me. But first, I spoke to someone at several of their locations in the United States, where I was told that this mask was pulled because of regulatory issues. But when I tried to get corporate to comment on this in writing, they simply stated that it was pulled because it wasn’t very popular, which I find mind blowing, because everyone, I know is trying to get their hands on one of these! The reason corporate gave me was pretty bizarre. “The masks are absolutely safe, we just don't retail them in the USA as we are unable to source our stock from the UK for cost reasons.” But they don’t just not retail them in the US, they won’t ship them to the US, Which is very odd. They did state that if I purchased from one of the other retailers in the UK, I would be subject to their warranty, which is also a limited one-year warranty. I’m pretty surprised that for a $500 product, no one is offering more than one year warranty. All of the LED facemasks that we see that are around this price point, offer a two year warranty. If we’re going to be using this every single day, I worry that it may have an issue and if it’s one day over that one year warranty, I’ve just lost $500. They said that they don’t repair them, only replace. I always prefer to purchase directly from the manufacturer because I find that they are sometimes a bit more lenient on the return window but it’s not an option because they won’t ship it to me. They were gracious enough to let me know that if I happened to visit the UK, I could pick one up there. Wasn’t that thoughtful of them? 😬 🤣 I am looking at purchasing multiple red light therapy devices (for face, neck, chest, hands, and an iRestore for hair loss so, with the cost of all those products, the warranties become very important. I really have to decide whether I can take a gamble because any electric device that I purchased is had an issue after a year or two and Will I be OK losing $500? Probably not. And I really want one of these, so I’m about as disappointed about that as I am in finding out that the iRestore laser hair, cap, no longer offers a one-year money, back guarantee.
I did read reviews about issues experienced from people with dental filling who used who used EMS and microcurrent (ex Nuface). You mentioned that one of the warnings for people with fillings with this product was to either start on a low level or keep it on a little level? Well, I read about several people who were using masks or the NuFace, Who began having terrible dental pain (One of these people had been through the battles of war and serious surgeries, and said they had a very high tolerance for pain.) This woman’s dentist couldn’t figure out the cause. (She didn’t mention the devices she was using.) He ended up putting her through a root canal after not being able to figure out the cause of the pain. She noticed that when she was on vacation and not using her devices, the pain went away. Then she went back home and started using them again, and experienced crippling pain. It turned out that the Microcurrent was actually pulling out her fillings. (I don’t know if that was the metal part of them, but in any case, he gave me pause because I do have three or four fillings.) once she went back to the dentist and explained what she was using, he said, never use those devices when you have fillings! The poor woman went through a root canal for nothing and then I had to pay to have all of her cavities redone. Do you have any fillings? If you do, I’m curious if you’ve experienced any discomfort. I wish they would extend the warranty by an additional year; that would give me more Comfort in making the splurge.

@@ScoobyDoosMom Wow, thanks for the information. Yes, it’s such a weird response from the US team. I agree that the one-year warranty is so frustrating. I try to use it almost daily, but sometimes I forget. I use it at least 3-4 times a week. But there are times when I use it daily.
After using it for so long, I feel the power is getting slightly weaker, either that or my face is getting used to it. I agree you should purchase directly from the retailer in case of any issues. The problem, however (as you pointed out) is that they don’t ship to the US directly 🤦🏻‍♀️
I do have fillings. It felt prickly/stingy on my face (near the jaw), but only for a short period, and I found the intensity lessened over time. I find it bearable, maybe because I’m used to it. Also, I’ve been using my mask for approximately ten months, and it hasn’t (knowingly) affected my fillings yet.
What happened to the person who had to go through the root canal procedure is terrible. TBH, I can't believe her dentist put her through that even though she didn’t need it. I heard that a root canal is one of the most feared procedures in dentistry.
There must be a reason for FaceGym saying that people with fillings should use it on a lower setting. I personally haven’t had any issues *touch wood*, but maybe I’m an anomaly. Xx

@@ScoobyDoosMom I wanted to add that I bought mine from Netaporter but they no longer sell the mask. If I could go back in time, I would purchase it directly from FaceGym. If my mask dies or there’s an issue with it, I feel that Netaporter won’t be able to do anything as they no longer stock it.
If all major retailers stopped selling it, I’d be concerned but with Selfridges and Space NK (maybe more) still selling it, it provides some reassurance.

    • @ScoobyDoosMom

@@theeditbydh I came back to message you and saw that I missed your last message that you purchased this from a site that no longer carries it. I’m sorry to hear this. That’s an issue I’m worried about given there are only two resellers other than FG who won’t ship to the US. I messaged with Selfridge’s and apparently their warranty is only six months (!!) I don’t even trust that because I’ve read complaints online that other people purchasing electronic devices were told it was only two months and that the company is having financial issues. Space NK is only other retailer selling it that I can find who will ship to US. They emailed me that they offer a one-year warranty, but we’re vague about what happens if they stop carrying the mask if it breaks while under warranty. I might be stuck with a store credit, which would be very upsetting after spending over $500 US. I have a friend of a relative who happens lives in England, and am considering reaching out to her to see if she would purchase the device from FaceGym and ship to me but I would be worried that if it broke, I would have to ship it to her and she would have to ship it to them, etc. They really make it very difficult in not shipping it to the US. If there was any comparable US device, I would purchase it. The only one I have found, by the same name (MediLift) but made by a different manufacturer (ya-Man), is a totally different mask made of rubber that doesn’t have much space for your nose. I am still unclear why they don’t sell to the US anymore. I think it has more to do with regulatory issues. They stated it didn’t make financial sense which was an odd answer indeed. I’d feel more comforted if there were more reviews on this item, but I’ve only found yours and one other brief one. Please keep me updated as to whether your device gives out. I hope it keeps working for you. I wish someone my age (52) would review it so I could see what it does for sagging skin around jaw. From what I understand, the parts are made in Japan so the manufacturer does not repair them; they would only replace them but if they stop selling them to a store, then I don’t know how we would get them. If the device was under $200, I would be OK with a one-year warranty, but for the price, it’s quite surprising. Have you continued to use yours and found that it’s helping or is it a device you fund yourself no longer reaching for? (I hate when that happens!) Cheers from “across the pond.”

Is it safe for TMJ? In TMJ therapy they put electrodes on the cheeks to relax facial muscles, so it seems like this would be helpful for that too.

Hi Michelle, it only contours the areas where the mask covers your face. However, sometimes your eye will twitch because of the EMS. When I first used it, my tooth slightly ached (probably because I have fillings), but it doesn’t anymore. I hope that helps! Thanks for watching xxx

Hi Lucy, this one can make the teeth feel weird/tingly. It’s uncomfortable (rather than pain) at first, but either the sensation lessens or I’ve gotten used to it now. It’s hard to say for definite as everyone’s pain threshold is different so maybe mines higher than others 😅 I hope that sort of answers your question xxx
