In this video, you can see how it looks inside / on LNG Ship, no music only real audio for a better experience. For those who don`t know, LNG Ship or Gas Carrier is ship designed to carry liquified natural gas (methane) on the average temperature of -161ºC. In this video, you can see 290 meters long and 47 meters wide LNG Ship built for PNG Project. We decided to split walk around in two parts due to length. in the 1970's I was the deck engineer on LPG carries ( Bibby line, Wiltshire and Lincolnshire ) nice to see progress in the newest carriers. Even got the luxury of having my wife onboard for a few trips !! Accommodation and working areas are superior, thats to be expected. Working in that environment demands respect. Safety was always a big issue. Good video .
Thank you for keeping the music short so we can hear the real sounds of this ship. I live deep in the Canadian prairies where oceans of wheat rule. I try to Visit Vancouver or Victoria every opportunity I get to see the ports and ship traffic. Especially enjoy watching the the logging ships intentionally capsize to dump their loads 10,000 tons at a time at Telegraph Cove on north east Vancouver Island.
I really miss my loved one even though we have misunderstanding but i always keep praying for his safety no matter what i will always keep loving him 😢
Hello SEA Lad, can you make a video of during loading and unloading operation in a LPG/LNG ship. Also the job of a gas engineer. Thank you so much SEA Lad :)
I would love to see a comparison between LNG and LPG and the main difference, for example, the LPG I think it has built-in tanks, unlike LNG which has tanks that are installed in. Thank you.
Its big and the quarters are cosy. What is the requirements of a job like this? I'm 20 years old, i want to explore before I'm too old, so this seems a good choice of a job
LNG truly is the peak of the industry in my opinion. Leading the way in safety and efficiency, utilising the BOG for the main generators, I assume you’re a DFDE, when on loaded passage or the consolidated heel when in ballast (if sloshing/tank limits permit). What type of tank construction do you have is it GTT Mk III or NO96?
@@LifeAtSea I have sent my resume to two or three LNG and oil ship companies but there is no call for a position as a crew .. I hope there will be a surprise one day for me to be an LNG ship crew .. my soul is only at sea ..

The ship What crew, are they mixed race? Nationality of each department meaning officers, Catering Engin room. Where is the crew from Europe, Middle East, and Far East? Yes she is a very nice ship well Kept throughout all the above depends on how the owner/s went about crewing her up and registration any ship can look like this depending as said on all of the above . Hello dear colleague, thank you for following us.
I'm very proud to be able to do maintenance propeller and shaft this beidou star ship at yard 😁
Thanks to your cadets sir.. They kept your deck neat and clean... Company MOL right
Unfortunately on this vessels we don`t have cadets. This kind of maintenance is result of hard working Filipino Crew.
Dear cadets are not there to keep ship clean just to learn how to keep ship clean
Why does everyone feel it is a cadet job to keep the ship clean. Cadets are onboard to learn and not just clean.

Who is a ship owner? and how to get the position on gas carriers? btw very nice video.

Got any room for a Houston to Morocco trip?
Unfortunately this ships visit terminals that are far away from capital cities or even shore.
For example this vessel trade from China to Australia
I like lng tankers
We like also. Do you sail on LNG Tanker maybe?
No sir I am Sail only on oil tankers.
How is this possible. So huge

Would require continuous simulation time for cadets boarding for the first time.
Do you have bullet tanks inside the ship?
you still use paper charts? not ECDIS?

LNG gas can only be produced with a lot of energy, about 20% is already lost during the liquefaction of the gas.
There are lakhs and lakhs of ship in the world... But no job... Only in India they will ask money for a job.. That is for only one sailing
