My son is studying B Tech Computer (CSE) in VIT , Chennai. He got GPA of 9.06 in 1st Semester examination. Is that a good score ? What score is required to appear for interview for the top notch companies like Google, Microsoft etc.?

cant we just pay the exam fee, if we get really bad grades should we take the whole course one more time
could u please tell what's criteria to pass in lab fat ? i got 16/50 in labfat and my overall lab marks are 68..some ppls are saying that 40% score is required to pass in labfat but i didn't cross the 40%..did i pass ?
What about non graded courses??? Do they affect anywhere??
Is this same grading done for MTech also?

Totally depends upon CAT2 and FAT marks. And also the class average for relative grading subjects. but if he is scoring like this atleast an A grade is confirmed

9 CGPA is what's required. He has got more than that, that's good.
