Like you, I've been dealing with what I believe is a Biotin deficiency. A few weeks ago, I talked my doctor into ordering a "B" multivitam panel. I thought it had all the B vitamins but it had all but Biotin. I went off all supplements for the week prior to the test. My B12 and B6 were high. I found this very interesting since these are both important in the Transsulfuration Pathway and what I believe is evidence that Biotin deficiency is causing inactivity in the Propynol CoA Carboxylase enzyme. I had to justify this theory to my doctor to get them to order the Biotin test, which I'm going to do in a couple of weeks.
What about someone with only scalp inflammation and heavy hair shedding? I've seborrheic dermatitis and am trying keto the past few months to optimise health but inflammation and shedding is worse than ever. I train, eat well (whole eggs, liver, etc.) and feel like I've exhausted every avenue and it's driving me crazy. Could i have a genetic issue prohibiting the uptake of biotin or riboflavin or something? Please advise 🙏
Fungal infection. Hypothesize vaccine induced tetannie, comorbid with generalised vitamin and mineral deficiency, especially zinc mg and iodine. Get some lugol solutions, 0.4ml/day, plus the mag, selenium, moly, etc.
Yeah I’m in what I believe to be a mildly biotin deficient state so I’m going to do a couple of substrate loading tests to see if methylcitrate, 3-OH-propionate or b-OH-isovalerate ride to see which best captures what I think is happening in me.
For me P5P B6 supplementation has given better results for skin than biotin

Could you break down the nutritional aspect of acne? Would be great. Appreciate your work.
What is the best form of biotin supplement to take.

Chicken liver for biotin
How much do you eat
Great Plains for some reason does not include B-hydroxy-isovalerate. Boooo. They use methylcitrate
