I've played enough video games to understand that a boss is gonna spawn after this.
Correct
❤
absolutely 👍
“You *dare* challenge me?”
2 forces of nature coming together like this is very fascinating
I somehow expected the dust to ignite.
The height and volcanic materials attract the lightning
@@WeightlessBallast that would be a real treat to see
I wonder what it would be like seeing a tornado but then having an earthquake happen at the same time
Power of Allah
Looks like Zeus is still mad at Hades.
Nah, he's just keeping Typhon in check, that's all.

True 💀
Wow! That's really stunning! 😮
More like "shocking" 😂
....okay I'll see myself out
Makes sense - a lot of iron in the magma, giving a clear path for the lightning.
No wonder it's called Volcan del Fuego
not to mention all the friction of the tiny dust particles passing by each other.
Among other things
That's quite wrong. Pyroclastic clouds generate their own lightning through massive friction, just like clouds do.
In this case, the negative charges in the ash cloud connected to the positive charges in the clouds above, which made it branch upwards instead of usual downwards, that's a positive lightning, it's a lot louder and powerful, and lasts longer.
@@SirKolass
Thank you.
About time that a genius showed up.
Pyroclastic indeed, my friend. ⚔️
It happens because the cloud dust are high in static charges and lightning is attracted to that and it hits the volcano because it's the closest thing to the charged particles and in needs to be grounded. It happens at a right place in a right time.
It's so amazing that it happens like that. I can only imagine how ancient peoples must have felt witnessing this erupting volcano also come alive with lightning all around it. No wonder they assigned divine causes to it, how else could you explain such an awe-inspiring sight?
I love the cows at the end.
Love it!! 🤣
LMAO
those were actually dinosaurs
Je bło yyy ⤵️ 🗻
😂😂
Thanks for posting this. Really liked that you included the slow motion version, too. 😊
Volcano: **erupts**
Zeus: stfu
Wow. Force meets force. Nature in the raw. Spectacular catch, 👍👍👍👍👍🇬🇧
It's breathtaking !
We are just mortals.
Everyone cheers while I would be like “nope”
I suddenly remembered something I really must doing somewhere else.
🌋⚡NATURE FACT: The lightning strike was actually caused by a rad dude shredding on an electric guitar🎸 at the volcano's base.
And his name is Eddie Van Halen!
with the pick of destiny
Like an Iron Maiden album cover
:-D
F….k yeah!!!!!!!!!!
No
Or Old School Metallica.
No not really. Heavy Metal yes, Iron Maiden not so much. For instance Ram it Down cover by Priest is way closer to this than any Maiden album
the lightning is caused by the volcano not the other way around
Sometimes, but not in this case
@@bonbonvegabon while the storm might be coincidental, the volcano is quite clearly the source of that strike. The initial forking pattern goes upwards from the plume.

@@Pr0toPoTaT0earth is positive charged and the sky negative. Electricity flows from positive to negative. The light travels so fast our eyes perceive it coming from the sky. This was taught in school.
Oh my gosh, that was so bright, like on a screen. But can’t imagine seeing it in real life.
If you do .25 speed @ 0:43 you can see the individual lightning frames. pretty rad
Those we won't know the vocanic lightning (scoure: Wikipedia)
=>Volcanic lightning is an electrical discharge in the atmosphere caused by a volcanic eruption, rather than from a typical lightning storm. Volcanic eruptions that produce lightning may be colloquially called dirty lightning storms, but the term technically refers only to ash-filled clouds that interact with weather systems. contains ice. Volcanic lightning can occur completely independently of any meteorological interaction.

Wow. That was pretty awesome ngl.
😮
Pretty fantastic sight to behold
Guy that goes “Yeeee” had already foreseen what will happen.
Thats the most incredible thing. How rare is this!? What are the actual odds of lightning striking and a volcano erupting at the same time. Its like a once in 100 lifetimes event. Maybe even more
That is so metal
Fascinating footage 🌋⚡ Great video 👍👍
What this shows, is the density of the material in the cloud. It looks like a cloud but it is actually pulverized solid material. That cloud became the tallest stucture relaitve to the ground around it. This drew the lightning to it. What a fantastic piece of video. The person recording it should be very proud to have captured a once in a lifetime video.
That was so cool that I paused the video at the beginning, only to realize I didn’t have to if I kept watching it to the end… thank you for the slow mo.
The volcano made its own lighting.
Love the demonic dinosaurs at the end 😂
Incredible! Thanks for sharing!
I believe that is how Thor's hammer was made.
I was thinking Roman gods
Jupiter and Vulcan
He's here

@@Ramzblood ur mom
The power of nature is impressive
That’s not lightning striking a volcano. That’s a volcanos lightning striking the clouds.
Still, it’s a cool thing to see
This is volcanic lightning; lightning didn't hit the volcano the volcano made the lightning. -_-
What an unbelievable sight.
And they say lightning doesn't strike twice.....!? There was at least 8 individual flashes in that sequence! Incredible!
Weather control?
If you play the video back in slow motion, it actually looks like the lightning came OUT of the volcano, which is 100% possible. There is scientific evidence that supports that lightning can, in fact, form inside a volcano's plume.
@@AK-47ISTHEWAY I've seen footage of volcanic lightning. But it stays within the volcanic cloud. I've never seen volcanic lightning interact with the sky.
This was a cloud to ground strike that just happened to coincide with a small eruption. The volcanic cloud was not big enough to generate its own lightning. But it sure did look incredible!
And it was filmed in portrait mode for all of history to see... great.
You can look at it in portrait mode, too, if you just pause it and scroll the time and swipe up as you're doing it, and it will cut it into portraits.
It's actually coming FROM the volcano.
Volcanos often create lightning with all the particles they stir up making static.

So awsome!

Beautiful

a kaiju is waking up now
Call GODZILLA!!!
Rodan.
Beautiful!!!!!
can only imagine teh true sound on top of this mountain and having lighting that close
Almost home.
Zeus is fighting Hades.
One benefit of living close to an active volcano: your house does not need a lightning arrester.
That lightning ⚡ just cancelled the volcano 🌋
Where?
That was epic
And then along came Zeus...
This might be cooler than the Eclipse AND the aurora borealis.... 😳
I think it's lightning from volcanic activity, though there is a storm going on around it. The lightning bolt jolts up into the cumulonimbus (thundercloud) above it because of polarity differences.
Great video, which volcano is this,
Volcan Fuego, in Guatemala
Awesomeness.
I think it actually came from the volcano
Looks more like the lightning strike came out of the volcano? So it hit the atmosphere and not the other way around?
That’s basically Godzilla waking up.
The lightning was saying, "come on move it, we ain't got all day"!
Job 38:25 Quien repartió camino a los relámpagos y truenos?

Biasanya, Petir muncul disebabkan oleh Gunung berapi. Tapi gak selalu demikian, ada Kemungkinan-kemungkinan lain nya.
Bro Zeus be battling someone in it
Run!!!
beautiful. when lava and lighting decided to collabs
THAT IS SO COOL
Does anyone know what volcano erupted?
Powerful 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Somebody should check there for aliens
When two forces of nature meet each other, and are keeping each other in check
This is not a lightning "strike". The volcanic ash produces the electrical charge and bolt.
Wow
Mother nature said "F this place in particular 😂😂"
Seriously that was amazing
location?
Guatemala
That’s insane
Not long after, Rodan emerged and wiped out the nearby town with a flyover.
Metal AF.
🤘🤪🤘
Volcano: Go ahead, do it again. That titillates me.
Maybe I'm the only one wondering what kind of crystals were made by that. Also y'all ought to be careful standing on top of mountain ridges in a thunderstorm ❤
Volcano of Krakatoa be like along with a thunderstorm:
Whoa
Eso es en Guatemala 🌩️
Nah, I think it’s just Zeus making sure Typhoon is still trapped in there.
wow nice
It’s all fun and games until a three-headed monster pops out and starts waking up all the other monsters with a call
then a monster pop out from that mountain
" The rage of the molten rocks meets the wrath of the sky. "

Dang!
Lightning actually travels from ground to cloud, or cloud to cloud. In this video you can kind of make out that it leapt from the volcano to a cloud in the sky
What the hell is lightning?? Is it's freaky ions or something
لا اله الا الله سبحان الله القوي العزيز المهيمن الذي علا كل شي قدير

This is surely a sighn from the gods.

Just letting you know we know how to initiate and redirect lightning strikes
@@GV5 Cool. Let me know when we stop volcanoes and earthquakes.
Not that shocking, lightning strikes happen most of the time of with volcanic eruptions
Oh my

Yeah that's new. Even for internet
