hey man, you might want to go get a test for celiac disease (essentially an allergy to gluten) as I used to feel super lethargic and tried when a I ate bread and I hand and allergy top gluten. it was just a thought love the content keep up the good work
Hi. I am really happy for you to finally land a job as a dev. I had a similar situation. But mine is different in some aspects. There are things that I wish that I did differently. But As you I used to be a Helpdesk but I worked in that position for 7 years I even became senior and kind of a coordinator and trainer for new employees. But That was a role that I never enjoy doing it and kind of hated it. out of fear for not having money to pay bills and food I did it. I also had my engineer's degree and knew how to code the basics from the university long before being a Helpdesk, but lack of experience, and many other things that I regret I picked whatever job I could. So I landed a job as helpdesk which I hated it, I was looking to move since the beginning but I couldnt, I got married so I was afraid of quitting before having another job offer I stayed there for 3 years. I learned a lot I must say and while there I study a lot about networks, french, english, etc. Then I got another job offer as a Helpdesk as well, there I became senior and coordinator, it was a bit better than my previous work but I didn't like it either. Then in 2018 I decided to change my career. I was looking what to do. So I finally decided to be a developer. I study really hard while working as a Helpdesk. My background as an engineer and the basic knowledge about coding helped me a lot so I didn't started from scratch. My goal was to enter at least as a semi-senior developer since in my country there is almost zero jobs for junior devs. They all are desperately looking for seniors or at least semiseniors. After many interviews and many failing attempts I could land a job last year surprisingly as senior dev. It was a miracle. It was really hard But I have been doing it well. I think that the effort you put pays off big time. I am really glad to hear another similar story. I thought that I couldn't enter as senior and if I did it I will fail but I could survive and even if there are things that I don't know. My managers are happy with my work. And I continue working hard and learning many things in my free time to be an excellent senior dev. I wish you success in your journey
Congrats ! We really appreciate your time for sharing your journey with us, it is really inspiring and motivating ! I wonder if you could make a video about how did you become a software engineer, for ex. what should be learnt to eventually call her/him self a programmer? A roadmap would be crazy helpful !!! Thank you and have fun :D (English is not my native language so bear with me)
I love how he "just" blamed the carbs...lol. I'm pretty sure the excess fat and protein had you feeling bad to....lol. Congrats on the job and I wish you well. What stack do you use at your current position?
He has a horrible diet. Fries, fried chicken, white bread, and white potatoes??? He’s eating fast food. It’s not the “carbs” that’s killing him. I bet he had a soda or sweet tea with that.
Always remember to repent of your sins (sin is transgression of YAHUAH The Father In Heaven’s LAW: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, & Deuteronomy) And Have Belief On Yahusha The Messiah. HE Died and Rose three days later so that you can be forgiven of your sins! HE Loves you! Come to HIM
Congratulations on finally making it in! The start of an amazing journey.
