Thanks for that Woo Hoo at the end 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
👻 😂
Thank you 🤟🏾
100% Kagey. PL last season, World Cup break, no teams cut adrift at the bottom, tightest bottom 6 for years. This seasons Championship, record start by Leicester, Ipswich record start for a promoted league 1 team! It's just so Leeds! Wrong league at the wrong time
4 faces that haunt me Kagey. Spurs away, Southampton away, a poor Manchester United away and finally Newcastle at home. We were comfortably leading in these games and chucked away 8 points needlessly.
Don't forget battering Arsenal at home, Forest away and villa away and coming away with no points from those games.
Love the way you sigh and say "so Championshipy" when going through those "squads" Luton, Burnley and the Blunts have. 😂
I have faith in the 49ers and new recruitment team getting the quality needed if we go up.
We always do things the hard way at Leeds. If there was a knockout tournament between the current top 4 championship teams and the bottom 4 PL teams my money would be on a championship team to win it.
💯 Our team now would survive in the PL
I agree. A championship team wants what a premier league team has (a Spot in the top league).
The Championship team will have more hunger and will-to-win on the day. I hope Leeds come back up.
only because of the dross at the bottom@@lukemcnally5195
I disagree, I think Burnley are better than all but Leicester but I could be wrong. Sheffield United though, should be nowhere near the Prem.
Your spot on KG
Good video fella, I'm glad you pointed that out with the premier table.. I 100% agree and see where you're coming from.
Also, from a VGK fan, RIP to Adam Johnson, I think the whole of the ice hocky community/world is shocked and saddened by this..tragic.
peace out kagey
im with you Kagey. the standard of the bottom of that Premier League is so bad. infuriating we dropped out and made it hard work. managers we appointed since Bielsa werent fit for purpose. Brighton made the right move from Graham Potter! Wish we'd gone for De Zerbi plays a top brand of football possession based style
Good points buddy I 100% agree with ya.
I'm actually glad we went down, we've completely cleaned house on and off the pitch.
Precious owner had to go, along with deadbeat players that took us down, few more to go though.
But we are getting established as a force to be reckoned with.
You have to buy big to stay in the PL buddy, cash talks 👍🇺🇸
I was thinking all last year how awful the Championship was so it's not surprising to me now how poorly those teams have done in the Premier League. Also I have to laugh at Bournemouth for thinking the players whose frequent injuries helped to doom us to relegation were going to keep them out of the fray this season.
It is so annoying. Anyway looking forward I'm optimistic if we don't go up this year which I still think we finish 2nd BTW, we will next season based on the quality of teams.
Agree. I think the bottom three in the Prem will be the promoted sides and the top three in the championship will be the relegated sides! If Everton, Forest and Bournemouth had shown the level of determination to get related last season as they are showing this season, Leeds would not have been in the dog fight last season. They will all be saved again by worse teams.
Don't get me wrong Kagey, I hate being in this league, but it's refreshing to see Leeds win again consistently after more or less being pumped week in week out over the past 2 years.
I agree totally. I do believe we would have sharpened up, but going down has given us a better board, early days of course.
This very board would have been here if we had stayed up.
The 49ers Enterprises had a deal to buy the club in place already. It only had to be renegotiated for a lower price when the “impossible” happened and we were relegated
We'd beat those teams now and I don't even think it would be hard.
Problem is we're in that cycle now where if we go up next year it'll be an incredibly tough tight season again. If we're lucky and it is us, Leicester and Southampton then we'll have to displace some fairly solid teams in order to stay up
We have new ownership that I’m confident would recruit better than our last ownership. It will be different next time under these ambitious owners rather than the lets see if we can milk this for one more season type of owners we had previously
Hypotheticals beside, I’m okay with relegation because of the hard reset we had this summer.
Couldn’t imagine seeing Jack, Aaronson, Rasmus, and others playing for us undoubtably. The loan clauses has actually allowed us to play our talented players.
I see what you mean. To be honest, Leeds weren't good last season, but Leicester deserved to stay up more than anyone else. Their goal difference was better than 6 other teams. IMO Bournemouth, Forest, Everton, Wolves and West Ham were all solid relegation candidates as well, but Bournemouth and Everton scammed survival at the end. Bournemouth statistically had a bottom 3 defence, bottom 4 attack and the 2nd worst goal difference and somehow survived through lucky results at the end. Everton had the 2nd worst attack in the league and Wolves had the worst attack in the league but Wolves somehow finished 13rd. To make matters even more frustrating, even a team like Chelsea scored 10 less goals than Leeds at 19th but Chelsea's defence has always been relatively decent so their losses were marginal.
Leeds were just about relegated. It could have been 6 other teams instead. Bournemouth are dying this season because they should have gone last season. Everton are a little better but still a relegation candidate that won't finish above 13th.
All in all, the Prem teams that got relegated last season were fairly decent, remember Southampton went toe to toe with Arsenal and Liverpool and beat City in the cup. They were probably the best "20th place" PL side in recent years. Sheffield United, Luton and Burnley would get slapped by Leicester and the Southampton of last season would beat these lot as well. I personally think Leicester and Southampton should have stayed up. Southampton threw away so many games like nothing was on the line. Leeds, Bournemouth and Everton should have gone. Leeds deserved to go down as they had the worst defence imo but other than that, if they get promoted this season they would have deserved it.
Everton centre back Braithwaite is a a good reason why they are better at the back. Top lad.
Should’ve bought us the year we survived relegation
Andrea thought he had one more run in him..
@@KageyVision Andrea is a narcissist at best and a sociopath at worst. Lucky to be rid of him.
How would our current team do if we got promoted next season? Would we be better than those three this season? For last season had we stayed up without changing manager we would have been as bad!
No, we would definitely need improvements to the first eleven in the PL
I wanna see that alternate reality where Brentford sent us down.
Everton getting a 12 deduction in a season when the bottom 3 are terrible typical it's like it was done on purpose or something 😂
My money is on Luton, Bournemouth and Everton to go down.
Sheffield United will go down for sure. They aren't turning it around. Everton will be fine. 15th-17th finish
Hope Luton stay up in case we go up. They will be fodder
As a not so hard and fast rule. Money buys you points in the Premier. Look at Chelsea. Once they lost the sugar daddy is all gone pear shaped. They could of had my Granny manage them and they would of been top 3.
Chelsea have spent over £1billion under Todd Boehly’s ownership. Money is one thing but if you dont spend it correctly then you run into issues that they currently have
@@KageyVision452 million just this summer😮
Leeds defense and goalkeeper is still a problem Leeds would still be struggling in premier league with the current defenders and goalkeeper
@KageyVision how much? That's insane. What a mess. Something to be said for bringing on the youth. On those rare occasions when a team has a good set, its Something money can't buy.
Chelsea still spend money. They were still on a downwards spiral under Roman the rot just didn't kick in until Tuchel was fired. Tuchel was underperforming but they'd still be a top 6 team if he was manager.
Not hire Jesse Marsch and we'd be in the same place as Villa. The right manager is needed
Aye. Gutting. Just our luck 🫤
