The Swansea and Mumbles railway

We take a dive into the worlds oldest passenger line and no we aren't talking up north for deep in the south of Wales lies a railway that was taking passengers long before the railways up north were even thought off!

There was much local opposition to the eventual closure of the line, with its huge multiple-unit tramcars. One of the cars was burned by vandals later on when kept at Middleton. A front of one is at Swansea museum.
