- Councils love to spend time talking about "woke nonsense" as Melbourne Lord Mayor Sally Capp is set to lobby against Australia Day celebrations, Sky News contributor Caleb Bond reports.
"On Tuesday night at the City of Council meeting she'll be saying that Australia Day is hurtful and damaging and that the council should no longer ... celebrate Australia Day anymore," Mr Bond said.
If the Melbourne lord mayor thinks it's so important why don't they give up their position to an indigenous person?

Well, I looked at those saying that they were Indigenous and I thought to myself:
1) They are as white as I am
2) They offer no proof as to their ancestral background
3) No one has the courage to deny them what they demand
So I said to myself, I am now part of that 'mob' and low and behold, I became and Australian Indigenous Person.
It is amazing how many benefits etc are now open to me and how people pander to me.

The first problem is that most of the time, it is only such useless clowns who run for office. The second problem is the idiots voting them in. Votes should be by ratio of council rates paid. After all, it is the rate payers money. That way, those who pay the most rates, i.e. businesses, get to decide how they want the rates spent. This system is broken.
