(1) I thought that it will be different lot size based on what currency u are trading for example let's say u are trading USDJPY and USDCHF the lot size will be different and (2) It is confusing me when i use it on Indices like Nasdaq🙏. You convert the pips to points by multiplying with 10, hence you need to divide your overall answer with 10
do the leverage size affects on the lot size? 500:1 and 1000:1

If you have let's say a prop firm of $10000 account since the daily drawdown is 5% and overall drawdown is 10% will your calculations be based on the drawdown? Or how will someone calculate it since you are not trading with the whole $10000.

Fantastic video Sir thanks a lot for clear explanation, sorry but I don't understand why divided by 10? let's say I want to risk 40 $ and my stop loss is 40 pips so, $ x pip value would be 1. But if i divided by 10. (If I'm correct) $ per pip become ten time less i.e. 0.1 and my total risk will be 4$ instead of 40. Could you please explain? Standard lot is equivalent to $10 I think that's why.

please note that this formula is note working for only USDJPY so multiply the lot size you got by this formula by 1.48 in order to get right lot size for USDJPY.

Yeah, you can model this into excel to increase speed. Or you can use position size calculators.
