That last part is the truth, I’ve seen so many people who became more Americanize than me when they move here from overseas, it’s sad to see man, trying to fit in but they lose their homeland culture in the process.
That's like how people from village try to imitate the urban culture when they come to city in my country, even sometimes they behave more urban than the city locals
in Europe, the same. and it is not just about the culture, but the Islam and fear of Allah !
That's bad true! Though, it's not really the culture that makes me bothered, you wanna wear shirts, trousers, hats - fine, do it! It's the distance from Islām what really is the issue!

I’m from NYC and my husband knew many Yemeni who owned baqalahs there and it was sad seeing a family come to America for opportunity the parents would put the kids in public school and just like the ending of this video, they’d turn all ghetto in months 😞. When you make new friends one of two things usually happen… they become like you or you become like them. Choose friends wisely!

Sadly I agree with you. We, as Arabs, are trying to copy American or other cultures. As Arabs, we should believe in our religion and stay as we are, but we can improve ourselves ( rake their good ideas and how they think and communicate with others). Sadly, you can see some Arab countries trying to change their culture, or sometimes you even think you aren't in a real Arabic country. Thank you so much for sharing this point.
