Without having ML/API stuff I think it's difficult but not impossible for non-embark to pickup on(eg; embark can test for cheat by feeding fake data that aimbots lock to and detect, stuff that not obvious to a human eye, and many many other things). That beaming with the AKM is obvious to anyone who mains AKM, recoil smoothing helps a bit, but doing it while tracking across the sky like that... yeahnah.

No, you're not the only one. Granted, we have aim trainers nowadays, but I always have a hard time believing these players can overcome our human reaction time limit. Would have been clearer on moving targets tho.

I think Embark is soft and will unban with pressure. most people don't know what "legit" cheats look like

I havent watched this video, but your take on the matter it quite sus, Ottr. That day in your chat you pretty much stopped just short of defending him. But again, birds of a feather you know.. if there is anything I have learned during my time on this game and hunting cheaters its that they will go to the end of the world explaining how you are "wrong" and their followers will blindly defend them even in the face of evidence..

I’m not ottr (or even close to him in terms of skill) but TA has a pretty punishing ELO system in place. After about 40k RS you need to be above an 80% winrate or so to even climb at all. Some easy tips: 1. Find a group to play with. If you can get 5 players together it’s hugely beneficial, even if it can be a bit difficult to get going. 2. Play light. Light having a significant amount of its health being regenerative is a big deal. Top that off with fantastic burst damage available and you have objectively the most powerful class for the mode. As for weapons, xp-54, lh1, double barrel and the sniper are all very good picks depending on playstyle. Thermal vision is also a great option to see invisible lights, as there are several of them. Medium can be used with guardian turret since it’s an incredible string specialization, but they ultimately don’t compete with light. Heavy is just genuinely terrible in TA for the time being. As for how to play, it’s a weird one. At the highest ranks they simply just play it like TDM, rushing the enemy spawn and wiping them. This is quite fast, but requires exceptional mechanics to even consider it. I’d recommend playing a bit slower than that, but play for chip damage. Even hitting someone down 50-100 can be incredibly beneficial in the long run since the health doesn’t come back. My current plan as a diamond player 4 times now is to go for about 40k plat and then see if things change. The current experience of grinding is objectively more difficult from 40k to 50k than it was to hold D1 in season 2, which was notoriously difficult for even the best players. We will see what ruby rank comprises eventually, but at this rate I’m not even sure there will be 500 diamond players. It’s just insanely difficult to climb.
New ranked system is trash. you win 3 games then lose all that progress with 1 loss. you can also go down in rank even if you win. and go up even if you lose.
