- Top Donald Trump Vice President contender Vivek Ramaswamy is set to join the former president in court on Tuesday.
According to Fox News Digital, the entrepreneur will spend the entire day alongside Trump as the 77-year-old’s New York hush money trial continues.
Ramaswamy posted to X about the 45th president's trial and labelled the trial “a sham”.
The entrepreneur has a history of opposing the hush money trial, recently blasting the court case while appearing on Hannity in April.
“Every one of these prosecutions is backfiring. These people are sick and tired of being lied to. They're sick and tired of the lawfare,” he said.

My personal take on things. If Donald Trump selects Vivek as his running mate, they will easily win 2024. Vivek becomes President in 2028 in another landslide. He runs again and wins 2032. Pull Ron DeSantis in along the way and America is saved and becomes the Beacon on The Hill it was meant to be...
You are..... very optimistic. Allow me to take a cynical take on this.
Okay. Donald Trump is hated on the left, as is everything he touches. Many fear that he will be authoritarian based on statements he has made in the last year or so. Also, the last time he was in office, half of his cabinet turned against him and published books about how they had to hold him back from doing extremely stupid stuff, like false flagging North Korea.
This will not happen again. There will be nothing but loyalists on his cabinet this time, and he will not tolerate anybody that will tell him "no" so if anything goes wrong, there will be nobody to pull the breaks.
Furthermore, you have a 900 page published policy document that increases presidential power to the point of full control over the DOJ, media, and commerce,, replaces half of the government with loyalists, complete gutting of all of the regulatory agencies so expect an increase in pollution and food poisoning, and a bunch of other policies that are getting it compared to A Handmaid's Tale (the book about a hypothetical Christian America dictatorship based on the fall of the Middle East to Islamic law).
Also, DeSantis is currently ranked the 3rd worst governor in the country by the citizens of his respective state, because he's too busy with his war on woke to do anything about the state's actual problems.
Ramaswamy is NOT looking at an easy win in 2028. If you fail to lead to us to the land of milk and honey, he will lose, and he will lose badly. I think it's unlikely he wins a fair election in 2028, and no chance in 2032 unless things go extremely well.
Maybe you should take this one election at a time.
