Ronin as a secret identity for Heroes needs to be used more. I just want one story where a group of heroes are framed for something and have to go on the run, but they still need to fight crime, so they all like, pull straws for who gets to be Ronin

I like how the Ronin costume/identity were used by Hawkeye and Blade simply because no one was using it and they already had it. Kinda feel like it parallels how it first came to Marvel with Joe Quesada having made it earlier with Valiant and it being rejected and unused.

I have learned from comics one important thing. Think about the entire story. Many times in Marvel and DC history have they started building up to a huge character reveal, and didn't know who the character actually was.
Seeing as how Echo is being introduced into the MCU and her powers are similar to Taskmaster, do you think her inclusion is the reason they altered Black Widow's Taskmaster to such a degree? Since everyone is theorising that the MCU Ms. Marvel's powers were stolen so as to reserve "super stretchiness" for Mr Fantastic when they get around to introducing him, it wouldn't be that different of a scenario. Of course, if that is what is really happening, that just raises the question of why MCU characters are suddenly not allowed to have the same power.

@@Mayhem_jester embiggen and stretchiness are still really similar to the non-comic reading fans though. It's better from a marketing standpoint if each character is unique and recognisable. They even tried to distinguish Tony and Rhodey more in the movies, giving Tony Sleek NanoTech whilst Rhodey stays in big bulky armour
that's would be a stupid reason for two reasons, first it's okay for two heroes to have the same power, second if you don't want two heroes to have the same power instead of changing a character's powers just choose a different character with a different set of powers.
Here's an idea for a ronin side plot Ronin does Ronin stuff, foiling Osbourne's secret plans and atracting a team consisting of. Spider-Man, Hawkeye, Echo, Electra, dare devil and luke cage to go after him and to try and find out who is the Ronin, a bunch of events would happen where one or two of the four suspects are not present and each would leavs vague but not incriminating evidence that it might be them, it would be like the zodiach killer, that it's hard to solve
I like how Ronin was used in Hawkeye Freefall to basically say, Hawkeye's greatest enemy is himself, it's seriously one of my favorite Hawkeye books of all time

Considering Echo only real connection to Hawkeye in the comics is that they were both Ronin and they know Daredevil, it seems like a solid bet.
