Let's PRAY for everyone desperately trying to forgive and give Jesus everything, but who are crushed by despair and pain, and don't know how to just keep breathing. God, Please give them a new heart. God, Please give them a Sea of Forgetfulness and the ability to stop thinking of all the rejection, betrayal, loss, and pain.

I enjoyed it very much, sure wish I heard this years ago. I go to a Pentecostal Church, didn't understand well that part, but I enjoy listening to men and women who truly preach the Word correctly, weather they are Baptist, Pentecostal, Evangelicals, etc. just so they don't stray away the sheep from their own congregación, instead they can be better brothers and sisters in Christ with everyone.

Seeing and knowing are greatly different meanings. Seeing is on the way to knowing.

I love this! Just a thought I had - sometimes, there can be too many questions (40:50). Too many questions can becomes unhealthy, detective-like, and generally a suspicious attitude. Yes, there is a great part about asking questions, that that we are trying to understand the person. And I think that desire to want to understand (by asking q's) is an amazing part about trying to resolve conflict or resolving and clearing an offense.

Thanks for the feedback. This was an interactive seminar that we chose to stream online. Sometimes local interaction doesn't translate well online.

Yes yes! I was so frustrated people making statements and I would tell them if you just ask me I could tell you but that was after I got some boldness because I had gotten away from some toxic relationships and so now when somebody makes a statement I like to say I'm sorry I don't understand what is your QUESTION LOL but I always said humility asks but arrogance assumes and yes when I came up north up to the Midwest they didn't like that I was bottom line they said it was too bold and I had to be more tactful

So HOW **EXACTLY** do you stop the pain??? HOW DO YOU SEND THE PAIN AWAY??? When you have been rejected and betrayed--> like when those are the facts, the reality of what happened (not your feelings or judgment about it ).. HOW ON EARTH do you STOP that AGONIZING PAIN??
I'M IN TORMENT. TRIGGERS ARE EVERYWHERE, THAT REMIND ME OF SEARING SOUL CRUSHING PAIN

It's the significance you attach to those events that's causing the pain. How do you stop it? Forgive, stop taking it personally and move on. The book How the Stop the Pain would be really helpful for you, it fully addresses exactly what you're talking about.

@ForwardChurchGA betrayal and rejection IS personal- that's why it hurts. I don't know how to get through this. I've cried every single day for 4 months now. I'm exhausted. How do you continue to maintain relationships with people who have destroyed your heart? I haven't cut the person off or ended relationship, is that not forgiveness?.. i just hurt so beyond bad. Pain has stolen all the Fruit of the Spirit.
