- So I was invited invited to the sharjah international book fair to demo a few recipes from my second recipe book... but I'm a terrible flyer and I've never flown alone before. Or flown Emirates business class for that matter! Here's how it went and also what I ate as a gluten-free person. Stay tuned for what I got up to Sharjah and Dubai whilst I was there!

Hi Becky, just picked up your second book to make some fantastic cakes and deserts, and I'm just wondering what stand mixer you use/recommend. Is it a KitchenAid? What bowl size would you recommend for cake mixes and doughs? TIA and thank you for bringing great food back into my life.

Thank you for sharing! You are so brave. I completely relate to the dislike of flying because the fear of being sick...would love to hear some tips on how you overcome it! In the past few years that fear of being sick has developed in me and really kept me from traveling, which is something I used to love so, so much...ugh life and anxiety 🙈

I'm the same with flying I always get super anxious that I will be sick, have a bad tummy or generally have a panic attack. So it's self fulfilling haha. Just know that many people feel the same, it's totally normal to be anxious whilst flying. Super Jealous of the sun you will have had on your trip!

I’m also sensitive to gluten, onion and garlic (and caffeine) and have always put up with the standard meal (and consequences) until now because I thought I’d be handed a plain salad or plate of boiled veggies. That food looked great so I will never do that again. Thanks for sharing
