quick questions; will the s22 still function if you remove the wireless charging coil? or is it a necessary component that you will need even if you never wireless charge
Generally on the s22 ultra I had, even without the wireless charging circuit the phone functioned without issues. You should not have any issue with it removed from the phone.
If there is any issues it will show a yellow triangle and won't charge etc....that what happened on the Galaxy S20 Plus when I did that.

thank you for your quick response. i will try it soon and will let you know about the result. also, in your video, you pulled out the wireless charging coil together with the nfc antenna. is there a way to disconnect the two and leave the nfc atenna in there?
@@s8v1 Hi I just checked and can confirm that you can remove the wireless charging coil alone and keep the nfc. The nfc is the part that has a square shape just above the wireless charging circuit / coil.

Did you replace same battery? Bottom end is little damaged, that is not problem? Battery still good?
Hi I advise if the battery is punctured or torn in any way please replace it for your safety and avoid damaging your device.

@CSR2_VTEC as long as the battery is not punctured you can use it. The battery in my video is a bit bent at the bottom but not punctured or torn that why I used it. As long as it's not punctured and you don't smell something from the battery you can reuse it.

I have another quetion: I have EU model SM- 908B /DS Exynos version. I don't see 5G antennas on EU model, compare to US Snapdragon models they have two 5G antennas. Where is located 5G antenna on EU model?
@CSR2_VTEC EU and most international models do not have the 5G parts that are on the US variants.
It will be water resistant?
Depends mostly on the quality and freshness of the double sided tape. I recommend avoiding water specially Submerging the device for more than 3 minutes
Does this battery last as long as the original battery for s22 Ultra
It should if the seller is trustworthy!! I made a very interesting and scientific test comparing a "boosted Battery vs normal battery" 🤣🤣 the boosted Battery dies first.

This is my 2nd battery replacement tuto on two different s22 ultra. After this I did another batter replacement with "an upgraded battery" a battery with 23% more capacity. I made all the tests necessary to conclude if it is real or fake. Everything works fine no device was damaged or anything like that.
Also everything is up and online if you need more information on all these stuff.
As far as battery replacement like this I did almost all Samsung starring with the S20 Plus up to now and other smartphones too( never had an incident)

Does samsung battery swell after a year?
I thought only older Samsung phones were affected heavily by this issue. The newer phones aren't really much impacted.
Yo no intentaría pasarle calor a la pantalla… De cualquier forma con un poco de presión controlada se puede sacar la batería tranquilamente, al igual que el señor también soy técnico y en mí etapa de novato le pase demasiado calor sin darme cuenta y por lo tanto dañe el módulo de imagen. Recomendación para novatos.
Yes, I got a screen damaged only (1). The screens today are very heat resistant so using heat would not damage them. Using alcohol can help prevent the use of heat also !👋🏽

😂😂😂 I recently did a teardown of the S23 and S23 Ultra they added pull tab to make it easier BUT 😅 It is still very approximately the same in term of strength (double sided tape).

Good job but I'd rather go with upgrade for $350.00 every 4 years than this hussle.
Humm (it's not all that bad frankly...more intimidating than hard). Every 4 years is a good mark but the battery of the s22 ultra used at its full capacity daily will not render decent life after 2 years. If used normally not aggressively it may satisfy your need for 4 years and more.
Only had my phone 2 years and the battery is already draining from 100% to 0% in less than 5 hours. I need to use my phone a lot for work.
@ccramit oh yes. That's a big strain ok the device if you gotta use it daily for long periods of time with screen constantly on. I am in the same situation 😅 all day with the phone
