My 2 years as a Realtor AFTER the boom

More than 60,000 Realtors retired their license within the first six months of 2023. Many joined the industry during Covid-19 era thinking real estate was easy money while mortgage rates were at an all time low.
Now that the cost of buying a home is high and inventory is at an all time low, the game has shifted to a battle of market share. Let it be known I'm nowhere where I want to be, but I am optimistic about my trajectory.
I spend a few minutes reflecting on the pros, cons and realities of my 2 years as a Realtor in the DC / MD / VA market.
