- Defeating Magista without taking damage (either health or shell damage). This is the fourth boss and the first one with the skill tree unlocked allowing you to parry.
I'm usually pretty rubbish with parrying but it feels a bit easier here and parrying is clearly very strong in this game. She can also do a spin move requiring multiple parries (or keeping your distance) but it didn't occur on this kill.
I'm a bit behind on this game so hitless bosses (assuming I'm good enough as I suck at souls-likes) will hopefully be done by the end of next week.

Amazing to see instant ACT content from you, this is gonna be fun
Thanks for your kind words! I was a bit slow to get to this as I'm bad at souls-likes and know this will take a longer amount of practice to complete so I opted to focus Moonlight Pulse and Faeland's new chapter (although I haven't finished that yet as I might be softlocked). Hopefully I'll be able to get this done in a few days of practice!
@CrankyTemplar I totally get it, soulslikes are hard. I haven't finished the game myself yet. The sequential parries are so, so fun to watch! Do you plan to do all bosses hitless? Also- was the shell a conscious choice, to make it a little more difficult?
I'm definitely going to try. The banana just happened to be outside the boss room. I don't think the shell matters too much except for the spell it grants. And I'm just focusing attack with level ups since the other stats don't help much for hitless fights.
I love he you can see her transform back into a normal crab it shows how you found her at the worst possible time
i never knew parrying the overhead swing reflected the ball back at the boss lol
What in the world is this?? A new SpongeBob game??
It is Crab Souls.
She sounds a lot like misses puff
THIS LOOKS SO SILLY
It's actually pretty fun despite the goofy nature of the game.
@@CrankyTemplar it seems fun so makes sense
