The enemies in this game give almost an Earthbound vibe, I wish they had little entrance calls like “Wolf Puppy is howling for a fight!”, or “Aurora has mixed feelings about you!”, stuff like that.
Getting RNGd screwed on mechanic vs the 999 kill roll guy and then coming back two attempts later and hearing this for the first time as I kick his ass was a very gratifying feeling.
@@MaxLebled There was a glitch where the song would only play after a very specific set of circumstances, I don't recall exactly what they were but it made it so that very few players would ever hear it.
@@deltaphant_ it wasnt a glitch if I recall correctly it was based on you losing to a fight then next time you'd fight them you had an increased chance of hearing this, now i believe it works as just an alternate theme you can occasionally hear.
My roommate has been playing this a lot lately. Such a cool, unique soundtrack. It takes elements from so many other resources, but does something wholly original with it.

I'd say it Boops+. I see you're new to chipzel. The stark contrast in bits and pieces of the song and fake build-ups are her thing. It's an acquired taste. If you enjoy it, try listening to her Super Hexagon tracks and also Run, by iamthekidyouknowwhatimean.

@@theophanyfd5422 Yeah, it's a quirk that transcends genres. I like Ridiculon's work in The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth for that reason, too. how about another challenger re approaches XD

“Loud bird can’t hear you!” “Stereohead turns up the speakers!”

god damn that drop right into the lounge-y synth at 1:25 and 2:25 feels like you dropped me right into a Leather armchair. so gooood!
It really just goes from intense fight music to elevator music
I'm love it!
Still nothing beats 0:52

2:56 makes my brain melt out of my ears tbh.. the sax, the skittering synth line, the bass...
finally someone talking about the actual best parts of this song
@@Greendogblue But still not the best part😉
I heard a 15 second clip of this song and I've been hooked on this game ever since
0:53 - 1:24 My favorite part
music to use equipment to~
Always reminds me of the kraken enemy idk why, the more chill part also reminds me of the yeti
bro the best part is 1:25 you are wrong
0:02 - 6:54 best part by far
best song in the game the riff like a minute in goes so fucking hard
I love all the contrast in this song.
How tf do you make a track feel like ice but have it burn like hell?
Legit chills...

I love the part where it gets whacked out so much this whole ost SLAPS
When you use Engineer’s focus and then use upgraded flamethrower against a enemy that’s weak against fire
That’s 48 damage btw
Don’t forget that Fury Gadget and doubles even all that like a madman

i did a round where i had two flamethrower+

My personal favorite.

Why do i get a sad feeling listening to it. Like it sounds nostalgic yet still boppin

1:24 when it hits...
The 4:22 segment reminds me a lil bit to the fight theme in O F F, Pepper steak

I don’t see what you mean, but that song is also pretty good.
For me it screams a mix of the 1920's and more modern types of music
