That style of top is made to be asymmetric but the choice of plaid is a really bad idea! In a plain or ditzy print it would look nice. In the plaid it just looks like it's poorly made!

On the wide legged cuffed jeans. You could take loose the stitching of the hem and cut them and make a raw hem. I have a very similar pair that cam with the raw hem and I cuff them like those.
Love your videos! Personally I just can’t get my head around the straight wide leg jeans. Other than my arms, my legs are the only other area where I am thin so to appear slim my fave are slim and yes, skinny jeans. Unless you’re taller than 5’4” I can’t wear baggie jeans without looking heavy on the bottom, even if wearing something fitted on top. Keep the fashions coming!

I'm so glad you showed that Chico's midi denim skirt. I like Chicos and like you, I've avoided the midis, so far, because they are all way too long for a petite, and overwhelming. This one looks doable. I still prefer to the knee, but haven't been able to find a new one this year. I have an old one I love, came just to my knee, but...I need to lose those dreaded 12 lbs before that one fits again! Anyway, because of this huge midi trend, it's harder to find a nice normal length to the knee out there. At any rate, for a midi, this one is nice...you're only an inch taller than I am and it looks good on you. :)

I love that first cranberry floral dress, right up my alley so I'll be ckg that out asap. One note I have to say, and this is just a matter of taste...I'm 5'1", close to your height, also shorter torso, I have to say, I much prefer the tan pants length here on you and on me too. I get that you want to wear them with flats also, so that doesn't work, but I just think this look is so much more flattering than the (especially in the wider legs) ankle lengths. These look great on you. That's what I'd do, I mostly will wear a boot heel though, rarely wear a flat or loafer, so it works for me.
Funny, my mother was the same as your mother about shirts, except for the jeans, my mother almost never wore them. However, she never wore pullover tops. Always a buttoned-down shirt. When she went to the nursing home, I did some clothes shopping for her, and she made a point to tell me no pullovers. I thought to myself, how strange, but after I thought about it, she never did wear a pullover. My mother also wore those 1950's/1960'S shirt dresses to do housework in, when I was a child. When she went to work it was always a shirt and jacket. My mother-in-law was the exact opposite, she always wore a pullover top. I found almost no button-down shirts in her closet after she passed, and we helped clean out her closet.

Walmart usually makes their dresses just way too short. That first one, would be a mini on me, and at 45 years old, I’m not doing minis. I’m 5’6”, so not extremely tall. I am a very average height for a white woman. It’s very hard to find a proper knee length, or even standard mid-length dress at Walmart. I’m convinced they run a good 4-5 inches too short on dresses to save $. P.S. The magenta top paired with the denim “midi-length” skirt looks beautiful on you. It would probably be knee length on me, and with that slit, I don’t know. But it looks just wonderful on you.
I don't find that to be the case at all if you stick to the women's brands like Time & Tru, Free Assembly & Scoop. No Boundaries, Madden NYC & Celebrity Pink are junior sizes and they do run shorter.
