    this video has made me feel like MAYBE i can do this!!! I am an educator of 23 years who has taught as a college professor and a high school English teacher--but i am extremely shaky on tech. Rhet/comp masters degree so I can write but have felt the tech mountain was too hard to climb. Powerpoint was something I barely grasped the basics of and its been ages since I touched it. With some encouragement from my friend who has made the transition and is working an awesome corporate job after using your checklist and free resources, I am attempting to do the same. I can't pay for the classes so I GREATLY appreciate these videos. This is my second one, and after this one I'm optimistic about being able to make this happen for myself. Thank you so much for your patience and explanation and overall demeanor in these videos. You are an excellent teacher!

      You can definitely do this!!! If you want to upskill on the tech side, then you're definitely on the right channel, haha. Especially if you're okay following along with these live events. Some of them get quite complex, but if you can do what we did in this workshop, then you'll be in good shape for most ID jobs (and fill in gaps with the documentation as needed).

    I'm designing some Thai and Indonesian foreign language courses, and I need a way to get users to practice speaking the language. I would like for users to be able to record their voice and then playback and compare their pronunciation to that of a native speaker. I'm also interested in using this feature for a leadership, influence, and verbal communication course I've developed. This functionality could also be used for call center training where a customer service representative can practice communicating on the phone and their response can be compared with a pre-recorded response.
    Anyway, this is a suggestion for a future workshop. Keep up the amazing content.

      That functionality would be great! I haven't done this before, but I would probably turn to JavaScript librariers and figure out a way to do it by incorporating custom code into the project :D

    Hey Devlin, thank you for your amazing video! I found that when it goes to restart the course, it still remembers all the previous memories (e.g., clicking false), making the new trial ending with a sad ending even if the right answers are selected. Can anyone help troubleshoot this?

    How to add multiple type questions over video at certain time and store record of correct answer for tracking?

    • @DevlinPeckYT
      @DevlinPeckYT  3 роки тому

      Hi Rajeev! xAPI can help you track answer responses. You'll just need to use some custom JavaScript. I have a playlist for how to do that here on the channel :)

    Awesome video, so useful, I'm wondering I have a course that has 4 catergories, could you use variables to create 'scores' that when you got to the end of the module told you which one of those categories you fell into depending on what you 'scored' for each question?

    Awesome! When branching, how do I create branches that after visiting 3 different "rooms" guides the learner to the summary page?

    • @DevlinPeckYT
      @DevlinPeckYT  2 роки тому +1

      You can use variables to track which rooms have been visited, and then when then conditionally show / hide a prompt (or bring the person to a specific slide) based on the value of those variables
