Crazy how when you treat animators well you get crazy good animations. If you don’t know valve is know for treating their employees really well and they refuse to rush their animators to make a deadline, like many many companies do. That’s actually the reason that valve canceled the planned show about tf2 on adult swim, as forcing their employees to make the deadlines required went against their employee policy.
I should also say that the lore to this game is insane and is one of the few cases I’ve seen of a game being made first, then the makers craft the lore over a period of years with each update. To make a long story short it’s the late 1960s and early 1970s and the characters are mercenaries hired to fight in a land dispute stretching back more than one hundred years between two large gravel mining companies and the two ancient old brothers who run them. There are also strong implications that not everything in this war is as it seems and that other forces are pulling the strings of the conflict.

General consensus leads more toward the idea that certain game mechanics such as respawn or autobalance are an actual thing in the tf2 universe because the mercs and the Announcer sometimes talk about it. As for multiple instances of the same guy, canonicaly there's multiple teams of mercs hired by either RED and BLU. But we only follow one group (and the best at that)

Firing 10,000 $200 bullets per minute equals $2 million per minute. 12 seconds is 1/5th of a minute, and 1/5th of $2 million is $400,000. So even if he was not being entirely truthful about the numbers, the ones he gives do indeed check out.

On the note about Engineer Nests, remember the Hard Counter circles. Scout > Demoman > Engineer > Scout Spy > Heavy > Pyro > Spy Sniper > Sniper Solder > No one > Soldier Medic > Everyone > Medic If you're dealing with an engie nest, hop on to Demo and start raining death. Clustered sentries especially are easily taken down by a single demo if they don't have anyone watching flanks and even faster if there is a second demo or the demo has a medic.
It's not as dead set as you claim (like sneaky Frenchmen are such an issue for sniper he has weapons specifically to counter him), with spy/pyro being the only real broken one I would say. Scouts for example are the only ones mobile enough to get a good sightline outside the sentry's range to spam it out with a shortstop for example.
If you do more tf2 reactions I would suggest Lazy Purple's how it feels to play series or Soundsmith's sterotypes series its about the hats,weapons,and miscs for each class.
I believe the original release order was very close to: Heavy, Scout, solider, Engineer.. original four. Then demoman, then sniper. The last there, in this order.. Spy, Medic, pyro. watching them in that order I think gives you how the- production quality improved over time as the firs were just 'interviews' and then it sorta started to narrate.
Emesis blue is a full length horror film made with SFM set within the TF2 universe and it’s phenomenal, I highly recommend and would love to see a reaction to it!
I love the respect you show for the original video, it's something not a lot of people do as far as reaction channels go. Like you had something to say but waited and came back to it so that you could fully listen without talking over it, and hiding the facecam for a second if something relevant would've been under it. Same situation. I have probably 500+ hours on overwatch (regrettably a mercy main), and only within like the past week have I taken to TF2 (naturally, a medic main). Loving it to death so far, and after watching Pyro’s introduction video, I’m completely sold. Man, that video gave me literal chills. Excited to see what you think of it lol. The contrast between team overwatch and the mercenaries is that overwatch has all these lore dense characters with back stories and inner conflicts, and the mercenaries are just nine strangers that barely tolerate each other and would probably kill each other over three nickles and a rusty bottle cap

although medic is not that powerful he is really kinda easy to main if you play him for just 1 month, I just learned and mained him for just only 5 hours fsr but the hardest to main is Soldier, Heavy and Spy. I main Spy, Soldier and Demoman only. The other classes I'm used to them except for Heavy cause I kept dying on spies and Snipers.
fun fact about about all 9 (in order off class apperence in game) Scout: Scout is literly gods gift to women, in the comic god is mad that the women arent falling for scout and thretend to flood earth, again. Soldier: Soldier got rejected from evry branch of the milatary during WW2, he decided to go to germany himself to win the war... 2 years after the war ended, he killed anyone that talked to him. Pyro: not alot is known about pyro, but in the comics they did become a very successful CEO, somehow Demoman: killed his orignal parents by accident while trying to kill the lock-ness monster. also has a cursed eye. Heavy: Heavy has a PHD in Russian litreture and loves his family. Engineer: Engineer has 11 PHD's and under the glove hides a metalic hand. Sniper: Sniper was orignaly from new zeland but was was transported to Australia when he was younger with a rocket. Medic: Has 18 (stolen) souls and has made a deal with the devil, twice to come back to life Spy: Spy is Scouts father
you should really read the comics. there is some intense lore on the tf classic and tf2 mercs. there are videos with some voice actors which makes it just more enjoyable. love seeing "new" people are interessed in this old game :)

although medic is not that powerful he is really kinda easy to main if you play him for just 1 month, I just learned and mained him for just only 5 hours fsr but the hardest to main is Soldier, Heavy and Spy. I main Spy, Soldier and Demoman only. The other classes I'm used to them except for Heavy cause I kept dying on spies and Snipers.

Engineer: Engineer has 11 PHD's and under the glove hides a metalic hand.
Sniper: Sniper was orignaly from new zeland but was was transported to Australia when he was younger with a rocket.
Medic: Has 18 (stolen) souls and has made a deal with the devil, twice to come back to life
Spy: Spy is Scouts father
Fun fact: Heavy is not rich. In fact he is in a trillion dollar debt.

you should really read the comics. there is some intense lore on the tf classic and tf2 mercs. there are videos with some voice actors which makes it just more enjoyable. love seeing "new" people are interessed in this old game :)
