Scripts of this show were so well written and actors/actress fit their character perfectly. It was not just frasier, every character contributed the show just the right time with a right dose of comedy.

Roz: Frasier the bishop is lost at sea. Frasier: I know Roz, that was the punchline, didn’t you hear it? Martin: No you idiot, he’s literally lost at sea. (Frasier becomes shocked) Frasier: What? Why didn’t anyone say anything? Niles: No he did, you were busy puking by the time he said it.
This is the TV version of the joke about the antisemite who was ranting about how the Jews sank the Titanic. When someone objected and said no, it was an iceberg the antisemite said iceberg, Rosenberg, they’re all the same.
Yeah I feel kind of conflicted that I really love them as a couple later and routed for their relationship and yet Niles is so creepy in these early seasons, what he does in this scene is Judge Claude Frollo level shit.
One of the greatest tv shows in living memory. What more to say? I bought the whole series and never tire of watching the shows. Brilliant all round. They don’t make them like this anymore
This clip left out the crucial bit of information: that Frasier was not in the room and arrived too late to hear the announcement of the bishop's demise.
No, he was in the men's room when the priest made the announcement, then he rushed in at the last moment and went right up to the podium. Both the sister at the head table and Roz tried to tell him, but he wasn't listening.
Some christian monks profess, by option, votes of silence. The obligatory votes are obedience, chastity and poverty. In some other religions they too practise votes of silence ( hinduism, I believe)
This would be terrible poor Frasier doesn't know what happened and most people there don't know that he was in the bathroom and therefore didn't hear Father Mike giving the bad news. But everyone at Frasier's table knows that Frasier doesn't know and while Roz tries to tell him Frasier thinks she is trying to tell the joke or correct him on it. He doesn't catch on. I wish there was a scene afterwards where Roz or someone else tells Frasier and we get to see his reaction.
"Why does everything happen to Frasier?"
Niles knows what is about to happen lol.
Frasier, was and still is, the smartest show ever.
I Claudius, Six Feet Under, Random Acts of Flyness, The Simpsons, FLCL
@@literallyanythingelse six feet under is not a smart show. Just a bunch of overacting narcissists
Yes Prime Minister, is about on par with this if you think esoteric is the same thing as intellectual.
Not when I think of the “Hung Specialist” sign outside Niles’ office.
I think that just reinforces the definition of the term `smartest` being subjective
Scripts of this show were so well written and actors/actress fit their character perfectly. It was not just frasier, every character contributed the show just the right time with a right dose of comedy.
it is timeless and classic, niles & fraiser looke like they could have been real brothers, funny funny show!
I love Nile's reaction when Frasier says "and speaking of water.."

Most likely!
Ahahahaha

I love this bit. BOMB-O! Kills me every time. =)
MISS THIS KIND OF TV
Shows called frasier? There are good tv shows from all decades
@@JazzFlop212what good shows are their from this decade or the 10s?
This reminds me of Homer roasting Mr. Burns on stage right after Smithers announced terrible news to the audience.
Bill Hurley that poor dog..
Quiet, you awful man
This show was non stop hilarity 😂
Glad that this has been up and bringing a smile to my face for ten years.
"I'm sure he'll drift in eventually"
Oh man, this is hysterical! And to quote Niles, "Why does everything happen to Frasier?"
the priest - oop oop sorry, the BISHOP xD
Roz: Frasier the bishop is lost at sea.
Frasier: I know Roz, that was the punchline, didn’t you hear it?
Martin: No you idiot, he’s literally lost at sea.
(Frasier becomes shocked)
Frasier: What? Why didn’t anyone say anything?
Niles: No he did, you were busy puking by the time he said it.
Niles' face at 2:40 gets me every time
HatsForEveryone same!
This was one of the cleverest shows to appear on US TV! There hasn’t been one since that compares.
Tears rolling my eyes! Hysterical. Thanks Kelsey😊😂
One of the best shows to watch while growing up.
Without a doubt my favorite Frasier moment, just love it.
Excellent: the timing, the failed cockiness, and the subtle jabs at the less=than-fascinating patter and jokes often offered at such events...
I love all the seasons but S2 is full of masterpieces
I love in the end credits Fraiser is writing cheques, bigger and bigger to the sister superior untill she approves 😆
The Vow of Silence one almost saved the speech -- I can imagine people trying to show him some good will after that, but then he went ahead and...
The second-hand embarrassment is so painful here! Poor Frasier! 😂💀
“Why does everything happen to Frasier?” 🤣
Roz in this scene.. 😍
Surprised not a single person lost it and started laughing at the joke after all.
This is the TV version of the joke about the antisemite who was ranting about how the Jews sank the Titanic. When someone objected and said no, it was an iceberg the antisemite said iceberg, Rosenberg, they’re all the same.
David Hyde Pierce's reaction at 2:42 is genius.
lol Niles smelling Daphne hair at 0:15
Kinda creepy

Now that the holidays are over Hallmark is ending the Christmas shows and starting the Frasier re runs again midnight Sunday yippie
One of my favourite Frasier episodes.
Didn't watch that show all that frequently, but damn that was funny.
hey lady, i work alone!

Omg...too funny! Really miss that show.
Frasier ....what a class act.wish I could find all the seasons.
They were on Netflix
As of December 2022 it’s available streams my if you subscribe to Paramount plus. All seasons and episodes are available.
This is hilarious
Hmmmm.....BOMBO!!!
I still watch Fraiser every week hi point of sitcoms never yet equaled
I LMAO so hard everytime I watch this clip!! 😂😂
Biblical hand shadows lol
Frasier is lacking an absolutely essential quality in every (even mildly) successful stand-up comic: the ability to read the fookin' room! 😂😂😂
“Ooooo bombo!!!!” 😂
Such a hilarious episode!
Niles steals the show as usual
Sneaky Niles 0:15! Love it
LOL Oh God...only Frasier. That was fantastic.
"Frasier, the bishop is lost at sea" is by far the best line Peri Gilpin said in the show.
lol! Pancakes And Parables!
The reactions. EPIC.
Poor Frasier, he had the worst luck with poorly timed jokes
And speaking of water...
Even when Frazier bombs... he's still funny....
What if there was like one guy cracking up in the back.
"I thought we hit a weisberg!!" LOL- genius!!
I don’t get it?
@sa4540 apparently it's a Jewish surname. And since Frasier didn't hear about the Bishop lost at sea, he just thinks it's a tough crowd
Threw a little Art Fern in there
If only Bart was here❤
Cost him a nice looking watch if I recall
Yes. I remember that. It was during the end credits.
This clip left out the crucial bit of information: that Frasier was not in the room and arrived too late to hear the announcement of the bishop's demise.
Shout out to the Titanic sub passengers
What Can Go Wrong, Well Go Wrong
Didn't somebody told Fraizer what happened to the Bishop ?? LOL
No, he was in the men's room when the priest made the announcement, then he rushed in at the last moment and went right up to the podium. Both the sister at the head table and Roz tried to tell him, but he wasn't listening.
gold!
The epic burn
The best 😄
MMM Bombo
The punch line, instead of Iceberg, might have been a Wice Berg ( Old scottish , meaning smart, wise, sometimes related to witchcraft)?
Oh god, why Frasier, why??????
I know John Maloney has passed away but can we get a reboot??????
abahahahahahahaha, this show is hilairous, and this is deff one of the funnier parts of it.lol.
Niles is kind of a creep.

He's gonna get jumped.

Hahahaha. And she was warning him to stop.
..the bishop :)
I had no idea they had a Catholic connection. Or was it Anglican?
This is quite funny. : )
nice
Someone please explain the weissberg bit?
It's a stereotypical sounding Jewish name (and sounds like iceberg)
Could someone tell me which episode is this? I've watched the hole series and don't remember this moment.
Season 2, episode 6.
