  • Crafty 10th grade point guard Jordan McCabe continues to show opponents, coaches and critics that he's more than just a high-level ball-handler. The 6ft guard guided his Wisconsin Playground Warriors AAU team through last spring and summer, picking up D1 offers from Missouri, UW Green Bay, UW Milwaukee, DePaul and West Virginia along the way.
Our cameras haven't caught a better passer in the Class of 2018 so far.
We look forward to seeing McCabe and his Kaukauna HS team this school season in in their quest for a Wisconsin state title.
Check out this mixtape from Jordan McCabe's summer highlights playing with Wisconsin Playground Warriors against the top competition in the Midwest.
For more Jordan McCabe mixtapes, watch and subscribe to All the Ballislife youtube channels and follow @scottballislife on Instagram and @BallislifeCHI on Twitter.
    Thanks for watching and subscribing!
And thanks to everyone at the NY2LA Swish N Dish and Chicago Classic!

hes real good I remember in the past hed be dribbling around for like 30 seconds every possession bc he was too slow to get by anyone. Now hes dribbling a lot less and looks a step quicker and hes making better desicions on the floor as well. His scoring has also improved a ton, hes draining 3s with the defenses hand right in his face and finishing through contact. Hes gon be real good, just wait.

All of the keyboard warriors can sit back and try to pick apart every aspect of his game but the bottom line is that he is good enough to garner solid D1 offers that we couldn't(majority of us). From what I can see, he has excellent vision and puts his teammates in a position to score. You don't have to be lightning fast to be a good point guard. He has good form on his jump shot. He looks as if he should be a solid mid tier D1 player. Best of luck to the young man

it says he's only in 10th grade here so i think his ball and body control is grade A. the way he finishes those scoops at the rim is very controlled. he's a smart ball handler which you can't teach. he looks a little slow but once again he's only in 10th grade. but the best part about his game looks like his soft touch. looks like he has a TORCH. that jumper is what will make his moves effective at the next level. you can be a step slower, but if you can knock down the jumper consistently, it makes defenders play on their toes. looks very solid to me. I know the other videos you got all these lil kids jumping from the freethrow line lol so this 1 isn't as "hype" but skill wise? i'd like this kid on my squad

It blows my mind how many keyboard critics have been criticizing this young fella's every single imperfection since he was in 5th grade.... FIFTH GRADE! That's 10-11 years old! Anyone ever notice how people with REAL basketball credentials and REAL "been there, done that" experience at the college level only praise McCabe for working so hard to develop such a high skill level and basketball IQ at such a young age? As far as I can tell 100% of the criticisms come from keyboard critics with no verifiable b-ball credentials OR young ballers whose own basketball story begins and ends with "woulda, coulda, shoulda". I wish people would level-set their brains before they start typing.... how about this.... Jordan McCabe had absolutely stunning skill as a grade school and middle school child. He has grown into a VERY, VERY, VERY good high school player (all-state and best player on state champs as sophomore)! He absolutely will become a D1 college player (already has offers in hand). Will his career end there? Maybe. Maybe not. Personally I hope to see him get to the top and I've never even met the kid. But if he doesn't, does he really deserve the criticism from a bunch of keyboard critics who, again, their own basketball stories almost ALWAYS begin and end with "woulda, coulda, shoulda"? I mean c'mon if NOT getting to the NBA is a justification for all the venomous criticism leveled at this young kid then I hope all the keyboard critics one day have a child who is judged as harshly as they are judging what seems to be a very hard-working young man.

He's gonna get locked up against D1 competition. Unless he gets real good with the hesitation like Jason Williams. When you don't have athleticism you gotta find ways to get by defenders.

Idk how he crosses people over this much, it's like it's too easy but I guess that's why it Wisconsin. But I mean he can work on his explosiveness like what I'm gonna do over the summer and it really does help you get by defenders a lot

Everyone saying he's not quick enough or not good enough in general just because he doesn't have wow factor doesn't mean he's not good. Hell, look at tyus jones in high school he did nothing spectacular but he killed college and is and is a decent pro, so chill. Plus most of the time the kids that have killed ball is life videos or hoop mixtape videos end up amounting to nothing when it's all said and done. It's about basketball not the flashy play or being incredibly quick you just need to know how to play the game.
