Did no one notice that the camera described in the title to the video is not the camera he discusses in the video? He's sporting a GS645S (fixed 60mm lens, meter, rangefinder), but title is for the GS645W (same body, except no rangefinder and a 45mm lens). As for the GS645S, he needs to know that the bumper bar surrounding the lens is there for a reason rather than style. It's there to prevent the fixed lens from being bumped from the side or the front. Why? Because Fuji made the focusing helix out of god knows what, and the result is that the focus function and shutter linkage can be destroyed by one modest rap on the lens. Apparently, he got one which is undamaged, but based on the number of GS645S units I saw over the years with this damage, I'd guess that half of them out there suffer from this irreparable damage to some degree. Best: Don't buy. Alternative: An iron clad right to return and full refund. Repair is impossible, so accept nothing short of perfect.

Hey spencer, i've introduced myself in the photography world just yesterday, and i have a question. but firstly i gotta say what motivated me to join the camera usage is because my mom had a camera back from 2008 and i love that type of retro/vintage looking it takes. is there any modern camera with that same type of vintage looking camera that i can buy or search for or i gotta buy an old camera to have a cool old looking photo? ty since the response =)

Welcome to the photography world! So there’s a million different options for you, if you want to go the route of film photography, I learned on the Nikon N80 which is still fairly inexpensive on ebay, a lot of those film cameras from the 90s are great machines to start out on, if your looking at digital, there’s a lot of great options to get started, Sony makes a lot of great digital cameras for beginners that take great photos, I usually talk to people who want to get into video or photography, the best start up camera you can have is also your phone. Theres a lot of mobile photography channels on here as well that will guide through taking that good picture. Hope this helps!
