Good video. Lots of good information. Would be interesting to see some before and after performance information other than weight; especially with the belt driven motor. Perhaps another video in the future showing replacing the screws on the JConcepts

Tips to make the spur hold better with the belt drive
You can put a flat spot on the spur shaft, also a flat spot on the grub screw. I will soon have an HD 8mm Spur shaft.
Great build, i have just purchased the max 5 with the 1100kv motor, what 1.5 mod gears would you recommend for reliability but able to get to 50-60mph?
I would say 25/30. I’ll have some in stock next week I believe
What if I have an ultimate. And I want to build the ultimate ultimate build?
Thank you for tuning in to the channel! The blue Ultimate comes with about 5-6 aluminum 6061 upgrades. It keeps the truck fairly light still and good for bashing. I carry a ton of pnw gpm and treal upgrades from 7075 aluminum. Also Jconcepts tires (beadlocks) as well

Thank you for tuning in! The blue one in the video was actually an Ultimate. The only parts i didn’t upgrade were
the 6061 Traxxas ultimate upgrades. The list of upgrades beyond that is fairly good size. He used a new rx/tx
as well to really make the truck nice to drive and customize the settings to his liking
But I like stock xrt tyres
