I agree, for a low budget film, this was actually pretty faithful and a good enough adaptation of Hellboy. Not amazing, not mindblowing, but its good enough for what it had to work with.

It’s not that the stick’s stronger, it’s that Hellboy stabbed it a lot.

I really get what they were going for. Hellboy really feeling something like a supernatural investigator. It's everything else that's random and brutal.
Hellboy's vulnerabilities and limitations in the comic series are intentionally designed to make him a more human and relatable character, despite his demonic heritage and supernatural abilities.

This was a great movie that is overshadowed by poor cgi. But i was able to overlook that and had an amazing time. They nailed the mood and style of Hellboy comics and i can seriously appreciate that they didn't try and make it an action blockbuster. It really felt like they cared making this movie instead of another cash grab.

This movie felt like it was made on UA-cam or something cheap. I actually stopped watching after this scene because of how bad it looked but maybe I’ll give it another go. Hopefully gets better
Did they ever explain why his eyes are blue in this movie? Like is it a subtle call back to the comics where Hellboy's half human? if so that would make alot more sense.
Watched This Film And Actually Liked It. Effects Were Decent The Story Was Better Than I Thought And There Weren't Any Boring Parts Where You Wish They Would Get Back To The Fun Already. All In All I Would've Rated It A 6.2 Out Of 10. Was Fun And A Good Watch. There's Room For Improvement But Still Good.

if u don't like this movie then you really won't like the comics. because not every case involves big demons or the end of the world. hellboy is a detective, he solves cases, and sometimes the cases are like these. read the comics and you'll understand
