As a male, what I find fascinating about these inter racial topics is the underlying assumption that there is a lot of White men out there who want to form meaningful relationships with Black women. Yet studies show that Black women are the least desirable on dating apps. I also notice that a lot of people obsessed with inter racial relationships tend to be from California and Minnesota
Stats don't represent everyone. If I had listened to the stats and naysayers,I would have never found my fiance. He didn't and still doesn't care that I am black. I have proven to be a good woman. We are marrying in a few months.

I don't know much about this Pink Pill person, I just began to delve into this online; black; gender war rabbit hole last year. I've heard some things related to her and none of them were flattering, especially the whole debacle with her racist ex-husband.
In context to this conversation, her entire argument was founded on disingenuousness. So much so that she would stoop as far as to minimalize and outright ignore the many African slave rebellions that have taken place in history. As you pointed out, she contradicted herself with the "genetic fallacy" damage control tactic by engaging in that type of rhetoric in regards to black men, lol. There's no reasoning with individuals like her. In a nutshell, if the Caucasian people played a more exploitative role in the slave trade, according to Ms. Pill, why did the Lord deliver them the final warning in 1989 to reverse the damage they did to Black people or the children of Israel. 😮
This is what I call willful ignorance. There are too many people in this world who chose to close their eyes and ears to the truth. But they are quick to spread poison like this to everyone who doesn't know better. Read a book people, and know your history.

The articulation of your views with the other creator’s views really highlight why listening will always be key to the African Diaspora. Especially those of us who live with the history of Chattel Slavery on are skin, in our hair, and within hearts & minds. No, she didn't hate Kevin Samuels. She called up on his show. She knows the cultural backwardness and obesity rate amongst black women, in particular, is a huuuugge problem and will continue to keep them from having certain types of men in their lives, with very few exceptions.
However, she, like most, wasn't strong enough to lead black women into the reality awaiting them if they chose not to change and remained obstinate and difficult.
So, when they put pressure on her, she buckled under the pressure like most do who are dependent upon the subscriptions, views and likes of their social media audience.
What KS said was, absolutely, correct 💯 except the part of criticizing women choosing to avoid having s-e-x and becoming celibate. I don't nor did I agree with that. We need more women to have morals, values and standards, especially, if they seek higher quality men.

The overwhelming majority of “the trafficking class” were Africans in positions of power. There are apologies from certain African countries towards Black/Caribbean Americans admitting it. As well as a detailed New Yorker article about a Nigerian slave trader. Yes, there were some biracial people involved but not in record numbers nor did they start it. Scapegoating biracials isn’t the way to go. Black Americans should let those that want to leave the Community go and work with whoever chooses to stay. We should be working on cooperating versus tearing each other down.

To be fair, I think the point is moreso that telling black women to avoid dating white men due to the history of trafficking is odd when black men historically and currently traffick BW. I think maybe Karazin was referring to trafficking of African women BEFORE the Atlantic slave trade. There was no African identity back then, so the concept of “our people” was specific to the tribe not the skin tone. It is not out of the question to say SOME (not even the majority) had no love lost or kinship with their warring tribes.
That said. The question in general you asked is odd. “Is dating a white man empowering” implies that a specific man’s race can give you power and that BW who date men of other races want power, not love. Don’t have enough evidence to suggest that historically for this population.
It’s even more disturbing in general that so many women today are seeing BW’s choices and scrutinizing them based on power plays. It’s that critical race theory stuff y’all do to characterize everyone’s motivations through the lens of power and control. And I don’t particularly enjoy that, as most folks just are traumatized and want security in an unstable existence.

It's curious that some Black women who are interested in interracial dating don't consider this question: Do the men you desire also desire you? While interracial dating is perfectly acceptable, you can’t force dating preferences. Unfortunately, men from other races have not shown as much interest in Black women as (some) Black women show in them. This isn't meant to discourage anyone, but the reality is that dating outside their race may not be as straightforward for some Black women as they might hope, given the current data on preferences. Nevertheless, best of luck to all the Black women seeking to challenge these trends.
