When the WNBA started Cynthia Cooper was in her 30s . She lead the Comets to 4 straight championships,was MVP and scoring champion.Then retired.Still number one to me. Sheryl Swoopes didn't play on that first championships team she was having a baby. You have the right 10 wrong order in my humble opinion.

Cooper is the greatest ever! Taurus is right there next to her if not slightly behind in my eyes. Unfortunately, the WNBA was formed when she was already in her mid thirties therefore had a short career. She is the WNBA’s version of Michael Jordan! If she was able to play in her early twenties like they do today, her stats would be ridiculous and there would be no question who the greatest is.

Her first Championship literally required 2 postseason wins? Imagine how many rings Jordan would have won if he only needed to win 2 postseason games! She was great for her time but it's easier to dominate a league that just started VS competing against women generations in. The women of today you can make comparison from past generations the skill the ball handling the shooting even the dunking is all better! The female athlete today is way better. We done with the 90's!!
Diana Taurasi is not number one. I would not put her before Cynthia Cooper,Sheryl Swoopes, Maya Moore, or Lisa Leslie. I know Cheryl Miller did not play in the WNBA. She was a little before their time. But looking at her high school and college career and her skills, she would have been on this list (top 5) if she had played in the WNBA. Great list! ❤❤❤❤

When we say that Cooper played like Mike we really mean it. She hit some shots that was great. She hit shot with her left hand. She hit threes and shots when you had to have it. She was the female Mike period. She passed too. If you needed a game winner she hit for you. The best female I've ever seen period. She has no loss championships on the table as well as MVP of those championships.

There's not a female basketball player that can come close to what Cynthia Cooper did to start the WNBA. The most impressive thing about it all is that she was already in her thirties. Yet she dominated everyone younger or her age. I would have loved to have seen the outcome had Cheryl Miller been given the opportunity all of them experienced. The discussion we're having would be totally different. Cooper led the league in scoring consecutive years just as she won titles. She was the MJ of the league. Pure domination

I agree with all the players, but not the order. Cynthia Cooper and Sheryl Swoops are the only women's players that I would say could play on a men's team and have an impact. The absolute two greatest players in wnba history, with Tina Thompson being three, and they all played on the same team. No wonder they won four straight.

In my opinion the current wnba players aren’t exciting I’d definitely watch the old wnba though but I have a feeling this new generation is going to change the wnba I’ve seen many 8th graders and up have so much talent and they should lower the rim considering that women can’t jump as high as men with a lower rim they’ll be able to hit crazy dunks which could make the game more exciting

I seen Angel Mcoughtry play with Louisville in College, and Maya Moore play on UConn in College as well. Ive never really watched them play in the WNBA my knowledge of Angel and Maya are from over a decade ago in College. I know theyre two of the best ever. I also like Elena Delle Donne as well.
