Absolutely stunning!!! Beautiful!! I watched the video ahead of this one and can really appreciate the knowledge and hard work you put into setting this up. I LOVE fireworks, but cannot justify spending money in a matter of minutes for entertainments sake, that could feed an African village for a year. Sigh.... I'm grateful you shared your show on film and it can now be watched by millions and enjoyed over and over again. Recyclable, so to speak. Very wise of you. THANK YOU for sharing this with all of us!!
this was a fantastic show. I started last year making a show out of my 4th. I learned a lot by watching these videos on how to chain them together. But last year my finale which was supposed to last about 5 minutes with 400 mortars ended up lasting only 2 minutes. My forth mortar made a HUGE fireball that set the rest of my fuses off and then they all went up.
I've watched a ton of firework videos online and this is the best one by far and it's not even close. Are all of these consumer fireworks? I absolutely loved this video thanks so much
The Orlando sure looks like they love AMERICA.This is a real family 4th of July party. I wish the whole family GOD BLESS.I have never met them but they are TRUE Americans Bill Petillp-New York
This was probably the greatest show I've ever seen. Don't get me wrong but I would actually prefer watching something that I can actually pull off myself hahaha. Just starting out so I have to start slow. Awesome job man
Wow Marc I just put on a 15 minute show last night that I thought was pretty good! Now, not so much! lol. That was amazing! Better than most city or town fireworks shows! Thanks for posting it!
EXTREMELY Well Done! Absolutely the best I've ever seen. The setup up video was almost as good as the show itself - lots of GREAT ideas! Especially liked the tip on 24" tubes going higher. Question - as of 2015 Big Fireworks has discontinued their line of professional use fireworks (even though they really are consumer grade). Do you know where you will go to get these in the future? Again, Outstanding Show - Thank You for sharing!!
My store still sells the professional series.. they bought so many.. they must have left overs.. I guess imma go buy about a case of each to save before they go!
would have been nice to see some dialogue on the safety aspect of his setup. I have no idea where to get the fireproof paper he uses or how expensive it is plus it seems as though all of the fuses are inside of some sort of safety tubing. I'm new to fireworks but I think more about perfectly timing the fuses and ensuring there are no mishaps than I think about the actual display. In all fairness it's not that difficult to figure out what you want but it's far more difficult to actually get it done with no hiccups or hazards. Seems like I could have learned a lot if I was able to see that aspect of his setup.
nicely done. how much of the show was done with time fuse? the dominator pro fan slices look great. nice work with the indiv comets although the timing could have been better - you need quick match so each row goes the same as the pre-made slices. the finale was too long IMO - i would move a bunch of the finale pods earlier in the show as false finales. overall very well done. not a small budget for that show either!
It was all fuse. I only had four ignition points. I was NOT happy with the comets either, and I have a different plan for the fusing on them. Thanks for the false finale thought, it hadn't crossed my mind. I listen when given options/solutions with constructive criticism. I never want to stop learning or growing, so any other thoughts? If you haven't already done so, contact Aurelia Copeland (803) 746-0550 at Big Fireworks. She will get you set up as a distributor, but yes my wallet is broken.
Well done Mr. Orlando. I watched your other vid on the set up. It looks like you spent some serious time planning this out to be a good show as well as a safe one. I know every one keeps mentioning how much this would cost. My father and I do a family show every year, and we are often complimented as it being the best around. (amateur of course) I think many of the commenters are missing the amount of effort and planning that went into this. All of it in the Florida summer heat. I sure hope you had a nice cold one or five after that was all done. I'd be curious as to the cleanup process that's involved the next day.
Awesome set up man. This is just my opinion but the whole show was pretty much a big finale kind of takes away from the actual finale. Maybe spread it out more or slow it down then build it back up. But hey that was great either way better than any show I have ever done haha.
This is one of the most EPIC shows I've ever seen! And the camera quality is great! Only thing I would change is add one or two more angles - maybe a close up of the cakes going off or the mortars lighting - maybe an aerial view from a drone or a super wide view of the whole thing... Killer job!
after i saw that horse in the background i started crying XD sorry i'm a horse crazy girl -_- those r amazing fireworks they are just so beautiful and wonderful. May i share this video?
As a US veteran with PTSD, I spend the time around the 4th inside with my ac unit running and music or a program turned up a bit more than usual to drown out the sound. I cringe and want to take cover when I hear the fireworks going off. I do not think that I will ever be rid of the emotions I get hearing fireworks. Many other veterans also have PTSD. This is our least favorite holiday of the year. Most Americans enjoy the fireworks and I am happy for them that they do. I used to really love it when I was a kid, but experiences in life do change how people feel. I will grit it out this season as well. Please have consideration should you know a veteran with PTSD.
Thanks for your service EG.. But Ryan raises a good point. Clicking on a fireworks video to complain about your PTSD, is rather.... childish and attention-seeking.
Thank you for thanking me for my service time. However, you and Ryan have missed the complete point. Where else would I be able to say to as many people as possible to have compassion for those of us who have PTSD and suffer mental anguish every year from all of the fireworks going off around us due to what we went through while in service? I cannot think of a more appropriate site to bring this to the attention of all of my fellow Americans. This NOT intended to slam anybody, nor the reason why the vast majority of Americans celebrate the 4th. I just want to raise awareness for PTSD sufferers. I have it bad enough that I have to stay inside with the AC on high and play music or watch video programs loud enough to try to drown out the sound. When the big bangers go off, I flinch and want to dive for cover. I would much rather want to be outside with my wife, kids and grandkids enjoying these things, too, but it just does not work out for me and many, many others that way. Enjoy your fun times on the 4th with families and friends, but please, do not forget about those of us who cannot. Thank you for your consideration and may God bless you as least as much as I wish for him to bless me. I am truly glad that all of you did not have to go through what so many of us did in the service.
As a Paratrooper and Ranger I say get over it... The shit is over!!! I took a deep breath and went for it... and it is all gravy now... What unit were you in ptsd?
Really? I know this is probably a dead thread but I felt the need to chime in....I'll spare everyone the DD214 announcement of my 22yr Army career accomplishments and combat tours. KEEP celebrating KEEP blowing up the skies and KEEP the tradition alive! Do be courtesy to your neighbors. Especially if they have animals, as they will most likely be scared and confused because they don't know what or where the loud noises are coming from, unlike a human with the mental capacity to prepare and plan for a night that may cause them mental anguish.....but i'm probably just being an A hole because my PTSD came with some loud ringing and hearing loss. This being said I LOVE 4th of July fireworks!
Wow! Having set-up and shot 1.3G in my old days, was this display all 1.4G? If so, were there any permitting or bonding that you had to go through prior? Just curious. Your work rivaled some of the prettiest 1.3G shows I've seen. Kudos!
Loved the show. Might be too much work that you don't care to do but I got lost trying to follow your video compared to the setup. It would be cool to have a timestamp of when each series you explained in the set up video hit or maybe just a timestamp of a few places on your set up. Regardless, it was awesome.
Wow unbelievable man great job that was better then most citys on the 4th. I'd never have enough money to do that but I see u like questions and u seem to have experience if i was to do a budget 4th finally n I wanted it to be red white and blue colors what should I get I'm from pa I go to phantom in Ohio ?
Great show but why are you only using 1.4 fireworks, 1.3 offers so much more and at a great price... As for the difference in tube lengths and shell height... Usually depends more on China and their lax quality control... You can weigh the lift charge from a whole case of shells and not find two that are the same.... Love all the rack work as well, most people just nail tubes to a board and shoot it.. Keep up the good work
It really isn't that hard to get a user permit, and it only costs $100 every 3 years... I guess it just depends on the person... I find that 1.3 is a better value, the cost per shell is usually about the same until you get into 4" or bigger... And the price of 1.3 cakes vs 1.4.... I use a lot of 1.4 in my show but a lot of the shells are 1.3
+Kenny East but going thru all that to get a permit/ ATF license just to use it once a year, in my opinion wouldn't be worth it. If someone used fireworks year round then yes it would be better. but for someone who does little home shows, no
Maybe, if you only spend $100 on fireworks once a year it doesn't make much sense... The main reason I got it is to add larger cakes, and salutes... I usually spend about $1000 for the 4th of July and maybe $150 on new years eve.... Worth it in my opinion
I tell you - for using the smaller fireworks you put on one helluva good show! That was awesome and would please just about any crowd. Could you pm me and let me know what just the pyrotechnics cost?
I usually spend $3-$5,000 grand on fireworks and your really good I can tell their was some flaws but really good I might have to make me some of those fiberglass tubes! But nonetheless great show dude but never depend on the electric boards and always have backups in case they don't ignite as of right now I weave the mortar fuses in and out and put a 2nd strip of fuse for insurance and I use packing tape or tin foil to keep them together! And every rack has its own fuse I personally don't use electronic ignition I use flares! Best reliable thing to be their and to know for sure that their lite and train a few buddies and make sure their safe with this and can help lite also its like driving a stick shift or driving an automatic car totally different feeling being in the line of fire it's thrilling and fun as all heck!
Jason F Thank you, people actually come to my place to see me blow my money up. As i try to spend even more than that each year. All i can say, i would probaby spend the money on other junk i don't care for otherwise.
DoneTV I honestly think that if I had that extra money too, and it was a show for someone else I would do the same thing--Fireworks are awesome if you know what you're doing...the local company that puts on a display for our community needs to go back to Fireworks display presentation 101 They were horrible this year!
I did. It rains every day during the summer in Florida, so I covered the entire setup with plastic. The ground was wet and it was hot. I got enough vapor to cause condensation under the plastic, and then it dripped on the fuse. The show went out (3x in the beginning) after the roman candles, the crackle boxes, and during the comets. it could have been a great show....not saying that it wasn't it was nice and all but it could have been more synchronized and instead of using one effect at a time use multiple and as someone said here in the comments its jouster opinion might not even matter to you. Just FYI when it comes to fireworks black in the sky doesn't look good especially not for over 5 seconds
Jacob Schiess there is another video of him explaining the setup. definatly not your average ameture, but this was on his own property completly with consumer grade fireworks.
Absolutely stunning!!! Beautiful!! I watched the video ahead of this one and can really appreciate the knowledge and hard work you put into setting this up. going through the hassel of getting a license to buy 1.3g is really not worth it for someone who only buys fireworks around this time of year

Kenny East do you have 2 have a place 2 store fireworks when get a 1.3 license?
Unbelievable backyard show. Did you do one this year?
AMAZING
BRAVO !!!!!!!! WHATS IN STORE FOR THIS YEAR ?
ESPECTACULAH
NICE !!!!!
do you have a listing of what was shot awseome
Awesomeeeeee
I tell you - for using the smaller fireworks you put on one helluva good show! That was awesome and would please just about any crowd. Could you pm me and let me know what just the pyrotechnics cost?

I usually spend $3-$5,000 grand on fireworks and your really good I can tell their was some flaws but really good I might have to make me some of those fiberglass tubes! Bstoy21 You spend over $3000 over fireworks!! you're wasting your money on aerials that only last for 1 minute
RamonJr malapira But I like watching my money go up in smoke-Don't you?
Jason F Thank you, people actually come to my place to see me blow my money up. As i try to spend even more than that each year. All i can say, i would probaby spend the money on other junk i don't care for otherwise.

Jason F Damn, i could show them a thing or two. However, fireworks are lovely:) And why btw?
outstanding
Are you planning for this year?
Unfortunately not.
was the camera damaged or fake moon cant tell
2020?
damn no beer
Did you have any technical difficulties at the beginning
Thankfully once it got past the wagon wheel comets everything went continuous. I learned you can't just cover things with a sheet of plastic and use rocks to hold it down.
Marc Orlando Awesome show!!! Just a suggestion.....You could try using a couple of the blower motors that are used for the inflatable yard decorations or inflatable jump houses. If you cover your set up with plastic, you could incorporate a couple places along the bottom edges as vents and using blower motors to keep air circulating to keep things under the plastic dry. The right size motors could even inflate a dome over the whole set up. Just a suggestion, it may or may not be feasable for your set up! It was still an AWESOME display!
U need to post more content
great show dude and yes florida is a bitch sometimes with the humidity and rain but never the less the show was still epic. i do my show on a floating dock so i understand the water issues lol we have our own problems. this year we used a one lite method also and the show went great only had the finale go a little early lol i posted the video cheers and happy birthday America
Marc, may I share this?
Yes share away.
Did you watch the setup video? HOW celebration July 4 2014 fireworks setup.
Marc Orlando
I did watch it. You do what I do, time everything out with fuse, but I use a 12 cue firing remote as well. Well done all the way around.
That was fucking amazing wow
Hello mr. Orlando, I was wondering if you had a plan for this years 4th and if you did we could discuss it... Would you mind?
I have no plans this year, just didn't have the time.
+Marc Orlando
Oh... (Walks away heartbroken)
+HazedNebulaƬψƬ feel you 😕
+ivan 01 I appreciate that.🙂
waaaw
Nice
that shit was sick
kinda sounds like gun shots
was part of the budget renting a bulldozer to get all the debris? lol
Verg good show man. But why u NOT go to user elektrische fuse because i she that somthing NOT go of when u want. I dit a fee show in Holland u van check tem zuiderburen vuurwerk. The hole show whe dit wit electric detonator
+Christiaan Pol het is illigaal voor burgers in Amerika om electric onsteking te gebruiken
Great show but what is the price? Bank for the buck is more important. I was bored half way through.
Good show but u should condense it ...it got boring to wach just my opinion
This is fake. No mortar shells shoot that low and that fast.
it could have been a great show....not saying that it wasn't it was nice and all but it could have been more synchronized and instead of using one effect at a time use multiple and as someone said here in the comments its jouster opinion might not even matter to you. Just FYI when it comes to fireworks black in the sky doesn't look good especially not for over 5 seconds
You basically burnt your money on a 30 minute show.
RamonJr malapira Well, i would aswell. Otherwise you will spend it on shit that's not fun! And if you have the cash for this, then, daheck go with it.
Kind of boring. Needs use of different kinds of fireworks with that kind of budget

I hope you moved the horses away
Not the greatest camera work, but good show..
TooAverage No where near as good as,"Thunder Over Louisville"
Well yeah, but that was professionally done.
TooAverage Tue, but that seemed like it was professionally done.
Jacob Schiess there is another video of him explaining the setup. definatly not your average ameture, but this was on his own property completly with consumer grade fireworks.
Jacob Schiess He just has a lot of money, haha :).
That was fucking amazing wow
