Watching Broadcast TV on my Laptop

I recently went without power for 18 hours do to a Nor'easter and remembered that I had purchased years ago a WinTV adapter that allowed you to watch TV on a Laptop so I dug it out of storage and set it up during the power outage. I had to use my two UPS batteries to run my laptop. I was eventually able to pick up the local stations.

Our power went off about 10 times this years after a few storms and bad weather over summer.....glad to
have our small petrol genset.
