Interesting interview! As a classical singer, I've also felt this sort of connection with the Divine, seeing my audience feeling it, too. It's one of the most rewarding experiences with this beautiful art of singing. One could feel as a shaman-musician, with this ancestry backing up our healing work.
Thank you Steve and Fr Tim for this wonderful conversation. Also...thank you both for your wonderful support of the Peace Mala project over the years...a pilgrimage in itself!.
I really felt this lovely conversation. Thank you. I have been inspired by the work of Stephen Jenkinson concerning death and went to his Grief Walker event. I also turned up at a Jill Purce week, thinking I was going to just learn Mongolian overtone chanting. Like Steve it was the start of a beautiful, deep and sacred journey for me. Thank you again. I love the overtones ❤
Wonderful interview. I agree all religious people need to connect with everyone, and put aside their religious beliefs. As there is always something you may have in common with another individual. I found out today that all non famous artists money that is not claimed goes into a black box and gets given back to the likes of Taylor Swift etc. Should this money not go to the homeless? Heartbreaking. Mother Earth 🌎 and nature can teach us many things. I always believe the true medicine is within the plants the Academics call weeds. God's plants.
I’ve really enjoyed this interview, thank you both so much x

What an extraordinarily profound and humble individual Steve is!
All that spirituality comes out in the song Spirit he does with Nigel Hopkins.
