I had trouble with this room and see a lot of people think that you need to grenade jump to exit this room, but there is an intended way that requires no grenades and no ammunition!
Such an expertly designed game up until this point. Such a shame. Really didn't wanna grenade jump out as I just couldn't accept that was the intended way. Cheers for this.
Totally agree. This was a low logical point for an otherwise very fun and clever game.

This is the only solution in the game I needed a walkthrough for lol, the final two levels of this game really love to bust your balls.

Never knew about this! Had the grenades but this still felt like the intended choice, albeit not as obvious!

But to be fair - things like that were a pretty common thing for mid 90s games. If it's not obvious always give the player SOME feedback. Be it a small 'beep' or the floor getting darker when you leave the path. I also resorted back to a restart and a grenade jump.

I must have been touching the green RIGHT at the end. This is one of maybe two floor puzzles in the entire game, and a mechanic never even suggested at by the game itself. A low point for the game, imo

holy shit I was so confused and only had half a bar of health so I couldn't grenade jump
I think I was low on health and had no grenades the first time I got stuck in that room. I was resistant to starting the entire level over, and I'm glad that my dumb perseverance paid off :P

Thanks a lot but......wtf? This is such a bizarre design decision, almost like some random ass thing put in the game just so that people would buy the guide. Unless this wasn't in the old versions and I'm taking out of my ass here

I don't recall needing to grenade jump at all unless going for the dolls. I should double check. Do you recall where you need to grenade jump?

@@Sh0tgunJust1ce You can do both of those without grenade jumps as well! Took a while to figure out, but if making a video about it would be helpful, I can do one for those sections of Kilmaat Sanctuary too.

Frankly, the back half of this game is just nowhere near as fun as the first. This is just yet another thing that slowed the game down.
