The Golden State Warriors defeated the Phoenix Suns, 90-73. Daeqwon Plowden finished with 19 points (8-12 FG) and 3 3PM for the Warriors, while Brandin Podziemski added 16 points (3 3PM), 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals in the victory. Michael DeVoe tallied 19 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals for the Suns in the losing effort. The Warriors improve to 1-0 in the NBA 2K25 Summer League, while the Suns fall to 0-1.

The younger guys are really proving a great team and they can move freely and make smart plays since there are no superstars to pressure their decisions.
This isn't anything new , gsw had top 2 bench in the League that fell to top 3 last year the starters was utter garbage (klay + Wiggins) hopefully Wiggins can be gone so Kerr don't have a crutch to keep playing him (vet privileges)
or, you know, they are playing against rookies and not nba vets.

@@gamerf2p843I don’t think Wiggins was terrible his defensive and offensive were pretty on par with his usual output ..it’s just that for whatever reason he shot the ball 4 less times which is huge scoring dip shot almost 3 less 3’s per game

It's night and day how good the Warriors team looks this year vs last summer league. This is what it looks like to actually have a group of players with enough talent to push for contracts & 2-ways, and a coaching staff who can get them playing like a team. Idk wtf they were doing last year, but they sure weren't doing that

Trayce needs to develop some type of post game or some form of a two man game out of dho’s
he can make plays in the short roll which has value, but I agree. If he could develop post and face up game he would be a very good player

His post game is fine. But he had no real bigs around him last season. TJD is limited as a big, at 6'9"/245#, but his lack of perimeter game will cost playing time, now that rookie Quinten Post, 7'0"/245#, is aboard, with knockdown perimeter skills. Post is Dutch and a good rim protector.

It got so bad pods had to start as a rookie.....Which bench player did you have coming off the bench putting in work besides pods and tjd? I know the bench was 7 in the league for scoring but defense was trash..
But still west is so stack it will be difficult in playoff
