I’m looking forward to trying these tactics as I’ve hit a slump in my Arsenal career really struggling to break down cpu defence, but I don’t want to drop down from legendary difficulty as world class will be too easy. I’m hoping these tactics give me some joy. I was using 4-2-3-1 formation with overlapping fullbacks and wingers cutting in, it was successful for a period but now on a 2 month run of frustrating draws and losses to teams I should be beating. Fingers crossed this works for me and feels more like the Arsenal we’re seeing this season.
No requests for any specific teams I just love watching these. I use them more as a learning tool than anything. Have tinkered with my own tactics based almost all on information you have shared as to why you choose specific positions, setups, instructions etc. So even if it is a setup I won't be using I gain a lot from the concepts. Quite a new one, please could you do Igor Tudor at Marseille .??? He revolutionised Verona last season with an aggressive pressing 3-4-3/3-5-2 and he’s brought it to Marseille this season such an entertaining team to watch 😍
Quick question: what’s the rationale for putting Odegaard and Xhaka in CAM and CM instead of RAM and LCM, respectively? How do they differ from each other?
This tactic is really good but I think Martinelli and Saka should cross the ball more especially after cutting inside. Either drill across the goal or far post to find the opposite winger or G. Jesus.
You’ll really notice the difference is through their positioning in game, Mate, particularly in possession. An LCM will be positioned just in those half spaces a bit more. The best thing I can tell you to see how it works is just to experiment with it by putting a player at LCM, then in the next game put them at CM with the same instructions and tactics, then spot the slight differences.

tactics work wonders, rarely ever concede goals first but don't necessarily ever have high scoring games (played 1 season and the most goals in a match was 4)
Can you update this with an attacking formation option to change mid-game? Sometimes I struggle if losing to play differently when staying on balanced for the whole game on these same settings. Love this though!! Legend bro!
can you do a Nottingham Forest tactic they just got promoted a signed a lot of players so their squad has changed a lot including the formation and tactics.

I’m no expert but Ive done Arsenal career on FIFA 22 and 23 and would say go for this tactic on 22 also, my guess is it would be just as effective as it would be on 23.

Change the instructions to balanced for Tierney. I got the feeling that they’re trying to coach him into that different role, but he’s fine-tuned to play as that traditional full back. Smith Rowe didn’t get enough time in his games for me to work his role out - in two of them he didn’t even play 10 minutes😝

Update: the tactics worked perfectly, started winning more, playing better football and creating chances consistently. Perfect!!

That’s dictated by the player, the tactic doesn’t decide how often they cross the ball, Mate😝
