It has been years since we went there. I researched online for a long time and ended up taking the limo bus. We figured it out. However, for someone who had never been there , it would be really helpful if you do a walking video tour from the airport terminals to the counters to outside showing where the buses are, the taxis are and how to get to the subway. Even how to buy a ticket. Just a suggestion. You speak English well, by the way.
Thank you so much for your comment 😆 yes! We would love to do a walking video soon to help people know more about this in detail;)) thank you for the suggestion!
This was extremely helpful, thank you! I'll be flying to seoul in a couple of days and I was afraid I'll be completely lost at the airport by myself. I'll be staying in gwangjin-gu near konkuk university so I'll probably use arex to seoul station or use an international taxi to my stay because I'll have a lot of luggage to carry myself.
Wow you are coming very soon! Excited?? I'm glad this helped! If you have a lot of lugguage, then it's going to be hard for you to carry around by arex. Take a taxi or check out this 6013 bus. This goes to Konkuk University Station from ICN 3 times a day. Probably takes about 1hr 40minutes. :) www.airport.kr/ap/en/tpt/busRouteList.do
Hi, thank you for your info. I usually prefer to take the airport limousine bus direct to nearby hotel in Myeongdong so that I don't have to lugged the luggage around. I would like to double check whether the limousine bus is in operation now as I saw a message that it was suspended since March due to pandemic.
My flight arrive to Incheon airport at 22:00. Wish to check if take Arex to Seoul, will I miss the last train?what is the last train depart from airport?
Thank you so much for the video! I knew there is a train that goes from Seoul Station to the airport directly and when I googled to look for it, Rail Ninja website appeared. I had used that one to purchase my ticket from Busan to Seoul before, so I thought I could use it too for this other ride. And they charge 46,890 wons for the ticket!! WTF. If it wasn't for your video, I wouldn't know that is not the real price at all. I wonder if I paid a lot of extra money for the Busan-Seoul ticket as well because of using that website :( Anyways, thank you a lot againn!!! 😉
Hi! Truly enjoy your vlogs. We will be flying to Korea on May and will be staying at Ilsandong, Gyeonggi. What is the best and fastest route for a family of four. Thanks.

Hello! I think this bus is the most convenient way. But quicker way and economical way are to take AREX to Seoul Station and then go to Myeongdong by subway. This is the only cheapest way. :)
Thanks for another great video. Im going to korea next week. Who do you recommend for booking tour a tour of JSA Panmunjom area? Keep up videos. Thanks from Hawaii.
Hi! I will be arriving in korea at 10.00pm. I’m staying at myeongdong. I don’t think i will have enough time to catch the shuttle bus or Arex. Can I use the regular taxi for 4 adults and 1 child or do I need to order the big size? Do you know the price range for it? And can I use kakao T from incheon airport? Really thankful for your useful information! Cheers!
Hello! I don’t think you can take the regular taxi because only 4 people can get on the regular taxi. Also there wouldn’t be enough space to load luggage for 4 people on the regular taxi. So you would probably need to take van taxi. There are international van taxi with flat rate. It’s 110,000won. I will add a link for the reference:) also you can use kakao t but it’s going to be hard to get a big size taxi. :( Hope this helps! Thank you for watching the video;) www.intltaxi.co.kr
Thank you for your very informative videos, Yong. I am using them almost exclusively for my Korea tour planning in Q3 this year. I will be staying at Lotte Hotel Seoul. For the airport transfer, Naver map seems to suggest I take the all stop AREX to Honggiv University and switching to Line 2, and alighting at Euljiro 3. What is your take on this? I am inclined to take the AREX non-stop, transfer to Line 1 at Seoul station, and again at Cityhall to Line 2, for the simple reason I prefer a more comfortable reserved seat. Does my preference make sense? Do the transfers involve a lot of walking and going up and down many platforms?
Question: we are a group of 6 and a toddler with many luggages, do you recommend limousine bus better, we are also staying in Myeongdong area. Also, are they metro in this area?

hello. have a few questions regarding transportation from Incheon to Myeongdong. I will be there in April and my plane lands at 9:20pm. until what time does the arex operate? I don't know what time I will get out of immigration. and until what time will there be a limo bus? I will probably be staying at L7 Myeongdong. If I take the limo bus, will the drop off be in front of my hotel?
May I ask if there is any way we could travel from Seoul to the NCL cruise port in Incheon International Passenger Cruise Terminal by public transportation? We greatly appreciate your assistance.
Thank u so much for this video! Very helpful! I’ll be staying at Bingo Hostel near Jonggak station. So I can take bus 6002 from ICN right? Also, my return flight will be 7 in the morning. The only way to go to airport is only Taxi?
Yes also taking AREX to seoul station and then transfer to line 1 would be work too. :) If your flight is at 7 in the morning, then I would probably go at night before and then sleep at airport capsule hotel which is great. I did this couple of times :) Check out DarakHyu at T1 and T2.
Thank you so much for Information, I am travelling to incheon airport from India on 6th june, my destination place is Daegu, can you please guide me how to reach Daegu from incheon airport
Hello there! Thank you very much for such informative video. Love your content! Can I ask though, how do I get an AREX ticket if I have purchased a Discover Seoul Pass? Hope you can answer. Thanks, again! :)
If you purchased the card type ticket, they will give you a code where you can enter it on the AREX ticket machine. Go to the Machine and select Boucher and input that code. :) But just to let you know, AREX free ticket should be in used during your pass duration.
Hello! There are two buses on the list. The last stop for 6015 is Myungdong station. Also 6701 has stops in front of hotels that are in Myungdong. :) The site is very unstable. You have to refresh a little or try to go to the main page. :))
Thank you. This is very helpful. I’m traveling to Seoul today and Busan in a couple days. Do you have tours in Busan (between 9/11-916) or in Seoul (between 9/16-9/21)?
Will be traveling through Incheon and will only have 4 hour layover. Is it possible to see anything outside of the airport and what would you recommend? Depending on the travel time, we would only have 1-2 hours to look around.
Hai..this video is very in formative. I would like to know how can i reach asan medical center from incheon airport. If i take Arex, from seoul station how will i go or if it is limo, where should i get down to reach asan
im arriving in incheon airport at 930pm at night. likely would get out of immirgration and baggauge claim at 1040pm-11pm. what would be my best option to get out of the airport
That was very informative, thank you I will be travelling to incheon airport via Korea air and I have been told to take the train to yongsan station and from there GOTO gapyeong station. Is that the best way to get to gapyeong station?
Hello! Yes! That's the cheapest :) ICN > Hongdae > Yongsan Station > Gapeyong Station. Or you can take a intercity bus to go straight to Gapyeong Terminal. It takes about a little more than 2 hours. :) But it costs more. (around 20,000 won)
This is very helpful. I will be coming to tour First time Seoul this August heading to Myeongdong and would like to take the Arex, can you recommend good hotels around Seoul station and how to get there easily. time arrival is 5pm Seoul time.
Hello! Thank you for watching. :) I haven't been to any hotels in Seoul Station but I heard Four Points by Sheraton is a nice hotel around Seoul Station. Take non-stop train from ICN to get to Seoul Station, and Four Points hotel will be right in front of the exit 12 of Seoul Station. :)
Hi, should rush (traffic) hour be a factor to consider ? I will be landing in ICN on a monday 4om. I need to get to Gangnam (sinnehyon station) for an appointment before 6pm . What is your recommendation please😊 thank you for your help.
Thank you so much for such informative video! Can you please do a video about things to do during long layovers, especially overnight ones. Is it possible to go out of the airport and explore? We will be having a 15hr layover in December but our flight arrives in the evening 😅 TIA :)
Hello! At the moment it is not so easy to do a transfer tour because of the covid. :( Maybe you can check back later this year to see if the tranfer tour gets easier :)) But at night..? 😭😭😭 Not so sure 😭😭
Does AREX run 24 hours? And how do we get from the AREX to the KTX (for example, if we flew into Incheon and wanted to take the AREX to the KTX to Busan)? We would love to see exactly how to do that route! Also, what is the best way for a tourist to get from a KTX station to a hotel (taxi, bus, etc)? Thank you!
Hello! AREX has its last nonstop train before 11pm and all-stop train before 12pm. Check the link in my pinned comment to see the timetable :) If you want to go to Busan from ICN using KTX, then you need to go to Seoul Station using AREX and then take KTX train to Busan at Seoul Station. Our next video will cover how to get to Busan from ICN in detail. So please check the video soon :) From KTX station, I would probaboly take taxi if I have a luggage. If not, I would take a subway because it's cheaper. Check the estimated taxi fare to your destination to see if the price is okay for you. If yes, then taxi for sure :)
Hi. Your videos are very informative. Plan to come to South Korea in october. I plan to stay at Aloft myeongdong. From your video seems like limo bus 6701 will bring us to our hotel. But when we checked the bus route provided it’s not one of the stops. Appreciate if you can verify. Thanks
Hello, thanks for all ur videos. Can I ask how do I get to Euljiro Station from Seoul station. We are coming from Incheon taking the AREX non stop to Seoul Station. Greatly appreciate your help. Thank you.
I am so glad to find your video. I will arrive at ICN at 6:30pm and would like to o to Le Meridien Seoul Hotel, the video indicated that 6701, 6702, 6703, 6705 stop at hotels. Which line stope at the Le Meridien Seoul Hotel?
Hello! Thank you for watching :) Are you talking about the one in Myeongdong? If yes, then only 6701 goes to Myeongdong area. It only stops at Lotte Hotel Myeongdong. So you need to walk a little. Also you can look into 6001, which stops at Myeongdong station. This is closer than Lotte Hotel from Le Meridien. :)
Your videos are super helpful! Thanks! If we are arriving at Incheon Airport around 11pm, how can we go to Seoul? Are late night buses available? Maybe travelling past midnight.
If you are landing late at night, the only option is to take taxi. Or you can try to book a stay at the airport (there is a capsule hotel) over night. 😀
I arrive at 6.30pm in T2 and have 10 hours before my next flight. What is the fastest way to Hongdae? Would you recommend the limo bus or all stop train? No luggage with me. Thanks for the tips this is so helpful!
Hello! I'm leaving for Seoul next week. I have the same situation. However, I have a big luggage with me. My friend lives in Hongdae and she said she will meet at Line No. 6. I am middle aged solo traveler and it's hard for me to lift my big luggage. What is your best recommendation, take KAL limousine bus, AREX or taxi. I arrived at 5:00pm in T2, it might take me at least 1 to 1.5 hours to get out, Im also picking up my rental pocket wifi, SIM and exchanging money at the airport. Your help and recommendation will be precious to me. Thank you.
Hello! Do you have a layover to go to other country? If that's the case, it will be difficult to do a transfer tour due to COVID-19. :( You have to take a PCR test once you enter Korea and need K-ETA or visa to enter Korea at the moment. The airport recommneds passengers whose doing a layover to stay inside the transfer zone. But if you still want to visit or if you are transfering to other cities in Korea, I would recommend visiting Hongdae or Han River or both. But just make sure to have all the necessary document to enter Korea and leave Korea before you do a tour. :)
@@yourkoreafriend Yes, I have a layover in Incheon on my way back to the US. I think I do have enough time to visit Hongdae and Han River but I also want to visit a traditional market like Gwangjang Market. 12 hrs is a very long time to just stay inside the trasfer zone. Thank you for the advice!
Oh I see. :) Just make sure to check the airport policy before you plan to visit, because the policy has gotten strict due to rise in COVID infection in Korea recently. I hope you have safe flights! :))
If I arrive at the Incheon Airport at 7pm on friday night, done with baggage claim & immigration check, should I go to IBIS Ambassador Myeongdong Hotel by AREX or Limo Bus at that busy traffic hours perhaps, on friday nights/weekends? Or traffic will be less around 8pm or so? 🤔
@@yourkoreafriend AREX is a train service on the ground and Metro is a subway underground? If that's correct, I would then need to take AREX non-stop Express train from ICN Airport T2 to Seoul Station first, then transfer to Metro/Subway to Myeongdong Station, then walk to IBIS Ambassador Hotel, like that?
Well you can just think it as subways:) it mostly goes underground. Yes. Once you arrive in Seoul Station, you can transfer to Line 4 to go to Myeongdong and then walk to the hotel 😊
So if I’m going to Signiel Seoul from Incheon Airport, May I take the AREX & Subway? If I have a luggage, I have to get SAFEX to deliver my luggage to the hotel, correct?
@@yourkoreafriend Thanks! Alternatively, If you take the AREX Express it will end up in Seoul Station. Once there, You will choose between Line 1 & Line 4. Take Line 4 until Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station and transfer to Line 2. At Line 2, exit at Jamsil Station. Even though it’s not recommended, Is my alternative way acceptable?
Hi. I just found your channel and found it very usefull for me as i will be coming to Seoul this Oct for the 1st time. My question is, what is the easiest/cheapest way and best option to go to my hotel which located near to myeongdong but required to get off the subway Euljiro 1-ga Station (0.2km from the hotel) Hope you could help me. Thanks in advance.
Hello! Easiest is to take 6015 bus and get off at Myeongdong station or Euljiro 2ga station and walk to your destination. Cheapest is to take Arex to Hongdae and tranfer to line 2 to get to Euljiro 1-ga. :) Hope this helps!
@@yourkoreafriend hi friend. thanks for the info, it really help me alot. When u mentioned AREX to hongdae, is it the express train ( non stop) or the stop train? Can I take the express train instead to hongdae? Im planning to take a subway instead of the bus. Thanks again in advance
Hi! I'm glad this helped you :) The AREX to hongdae I have mentioned is the all-stop train. Express train does not stop at Hongdae Station. It goes straight to Seoul Station. So it is better to take all-stop train to get off at Hongdae. Plus, all-stop only takes 10 minutes more than express train and it's cheaper. :)
Hi! I find your channel very informative especially for those first timers traveling to Seoul so I subscribe. We (me, my husband and daughter) will be traveling to Korea this June but our arrival in ICN is around 10:40pm. What will be the best transportation to take if our hotel is in Myeongdong? Will be looking forward for your answer. Thanks you🙏🏼
Your delivery of language is excellent, I am 16 years old and will transit 10 hours and 25 minutes at Incheon airport. do you have a tour recommendation or travel alone using AREX? it would be very helpful if you could explain. I was able to find a free Korean transit tour. but will open again in 2023. Would you happen to have any suggestions for the Seoul tour?
Hello! Thank you so much for watching;) It really depends on your arrival time. If it’s not too late at night, then you can try visiting Kyeongbokgoong palace and Myeongdong for awhile. Or maybe Hongdae and tour around there. You can take AREX to Seoul Station and transfer to line 1 to go to Myeongdong and take taxi to visit Kyungbokgoong afterwards. You can take arex to hongdae with all stop train. :) There are things you can do while the layover but with limited time, you can only choose one or two :((
Thank you for this video. We ( my wife & me) is the first time to visit Korea for destination Seoul -Busan- Jeju island. Now, I am still learning from You tube, how to go there.
Thank you for the video very helpful. 🙏🙏 I will travelling to Seoul next month Is it better to take a taxi from Seoul station to myeongdong as I stay at Ibis Ambassador Myeongdong OR Should I take the subway from Seoul station Kindly note this is my first trip and will have one suitcase. Is the walk too much from Seoul station to subway The taxi to myeongdong takes two minutes as told by google Please assist Thanks
Either way is fine :)) Time it takes to walk to subway and to taxi stop are pretty much the same. But if you take a subway, you might have to walk about 10 minutes to your hotel. If you don't want to walk, then take taxi. If you don't mind, then take subway because it's cheaper.😊
@@yourkoreafriend thank you so much I will try the subway 👍 Godbless I’m at the Ibis Ambassador myeongdong Do you have recommendations for street food nearby 🙏

Where can I find the hotel that these limo buses stop at?
Hello there! Thank you very much for such informative video. Love your content! Can I ask though, how do I get an AREX ticket if I have purchased a Discover Seoul Pass? Hope you can answer. Thanks, again! :)
If you purchased the card type ticket, they will give you a code where you can enter it on the AREX ticket machine. Go to the Machine and select Boucher and input that code. :) But just to let you know, AREX free ticket should be in used during your pass duration.
@@yourkoreafriend Thank you very much!! This is so helpful.🥰
Thanks for the video. There used to be a limo bus from Incheon to Myeongdong but looks like the English website is down. Can you help?
Hello!
There are two buses on the list. The last stop for 6015 is Myungdong station. Also 6701 has stops in front of hotels that are in Myungdong. :)
The site is very unstable.
Depending on the travel time, we would only have 1-2 hours to look around.
very helpful. Thank you!
Very helpful, thanks
Thank you for watching! :)
Can anyone confirm if the "Unlimited Climate Card" has included coverage for Airport railroad from Incheon Airport to Seoul ?
Hai..this video is very in formative. I would like to know how can i reach asan medical center from incheon airport. If i take Arex, from seoul station how will i go or if it is limo, where should i get down to reach asan
Thanks for sharing
Could you please help? Whats the best way to get to the Sinsa station from Inchon Airport? Bus or taxi? I cannot decide! Please help
Can you tell me which way is best with larger check-in luggage?
im arriving in incheon airport at 930pm at night. likely would get out of immirgration and baggauge claim at 1040pm-11pm. what would be my best option to get out of the airport
Can you please give me some details for me to Travel from Inchan Airport to Gunsan
That was very informative, thank you
I will be travelling to incheon airport via Korea air and I have been told to take the train to yongsan station and from there GOTO gapyeong station.
Pls guide me to reach Recenz Dongdemon hotel from Incheon international airport as I am a student from India first time
This is very helpful. I will be coming to tour First time Seoul this August heading to Myeongdong and would like to take the Arex, can you recommend good hotels around Seoul station and how to get there easily. time arrival is 5pm Seoul time.
Hello! Thank you for watching. :)
I haven't been to any hotels in Seoul Station but I heard Four Points by Sheraton is a nice hotel around Seoul Station.
Good information
Check the link in my pinned comment to see the timetable :)
If you want to go to Busan from ICN using KTX, then you need to go to Seoul Station using AREX and then take KTX train to Busan at Seoul Station. Our next video will cover how to get to Busan from ICN in detail. So please check the video soon :)
From KTX station, I would probaboly take taxi if I have a luggage. If not, I would take a subway because it's cheaper. Check the estimated taxi fare to your destination to see if the price is okay for you. If yes, then taxi for sure :)
Does the shuttle bus stop at crown prince hotel?
Hello! Thank you for watching :)
Are you talking about the one in Myeongdong? If yes, then only 6701 goes to Myeongdong area. It only stops at Lotte Hotel Myeongdong. So you need to walk a little.
Also you can look into 6001, which stops at Myeongdong station. This is closer than Lotte Hotel from Le Meridien. :)
Your videos are super helpful! Thanks! If we are arriving at Incheon Airport around 11pm, how can we go to Seoul? Are late night buses available? Maybe travelling past midnight.
Unfortunately, bus and metro will stop before midnight. Only way is to take taxi :((
What option are available when landing late at night?
If you are landing late at night, the only option is to take taxi.
Or you can try to book a stay at the airport (there is a capsule hotel) over night. 😀
I arrive at 6.30pm in T2 and have 10 hours before my next flight. What is the fastest way to Hongdae? Would you recommend the limo bus or all stop train? No luggage with me. Thanks for the tips this is so helpful!
Hello! Yes all-stop train is the fastest. ;)
Thank you.
Hi do you have recommendations on things to do in Seoul during a 12 hr. layover?
Hello! Do you have a layover to go to other country?
If that's the case, it will be difficult to do a transfer tour due to COVID-19. :(
You have to take a PCR test once you enter Korea and need K-ETA or visa to enter Korea at the moment.
Oh I see. :)
Just make sure to check the airport policy before you plan to visit, because the policy has gotten strict due to rise in COVID infection in Korea recently.
I hope you have safe flights! :))
Can share more on how to travel around seoul
If I arrive at the Incheon Airport at 7pm on friday night, done with baggage claim & immigration check, should I go to IBIS Ambassador Myeongdong Hotel by AREX or Limo Bus at that busy traffic hours perhaps, on friday nights/weekends? Or traffic will be less around 8pm or so? 🤔
There will be traffic all night :((
I would prefer AREX ;)
@@yourkoreafriend AREX is a train service on the ground and Metro is a subway underground? If that's correct, I would then need to take AREX non-stop Express train from ICN Airport T2 to Seoul Station first, then transfer to Metro/Subway to Myeongdong Station, then walk to IBIS Ambassador Hotel, like that?
Well you can just think it as subways:) it mostly goes underground. Yes. Once you arrive in Seoul Station, you can transfer to Line 4 to go to Myeongdong and then walk to the hotel 😊
which airport limousine bus should I take to Aloft Myeongdong hotel? Can you provide a link to airport limousine bus service?
İs this AREX working 24 hours ?
So if I’m going to Signiel Seoul from Incheon Airport, May I take the AREX & Subway? If I have a luggage, I have to get SAFEX to deliver my luggage to the hotel, correct?
Yes! that's right :) But take all stop train instead of non-stop train.
AREX to Hongdae > transfer to Line 2 > to Jamsil :)
Yes! You can take that as well.
Or you can take AREX to Gimpo Airport > transfer to express line 9 > to Seokchon Station too. :)
Hi what are the hours of operations for AREX? My flight gets in at night
Hope this helps!
Hi! I'm glad this helped you :)
The AREX to hongdae I have mentioned is the all-stop train. Express train does not stop at Hongdae Station. It goes straight to Seoul Station. So it is better to take all-stop train to get off at Hongdae. Plus, all-stop only takes 10 minutes more than express train and it's cheaper. :)
Thank you. This is helpful.
Awesome thanks
No problem! 😆
Now, I am still learning from You tube, how to go there.
unless you live near an AREX subway station take the limousine bus if possible
Thank you for the video very helpful. 🙏🙏
I will travelling to Seoul next month
Is it better to take a taxi from Seoul station to myeongdong as I stay at Ibis Ambassador Myeongdong
OR
Should I take the subway from Seoul station
Kindly note this is my first trip and will have one suitcase. Is the walk too much from Seoul station to subway
The taxi to myeongdong takes two minutes as told by google
Please assist
Thanks
Either way is fine :)) Time it takes to walk to subway and to taxi stop are pretty much the same. But if you take a subway, you might have to walk about 10 minutes to your hotel.
If you don't want to walk, then take taxi. If you don't mind, then take subway because it's cheaper.😊
@@yourkoreafriend thank you so much
I will try the subway 👍
Godbless
I’m at the Ibis Ambassador myeongdong
Do you have recommendations for street food nearby 🙏
