- Love Hibiscus? Well, it's not a good questions as we all love Hibiscus a lot and in tropical climate Hibiscus is really popular as one of the best summer flowering plants. Here I have shared 17 different varieties of Hibiscus plants and I hope you would love to see them :-) The list include many Hibiscus varieties which are available in India, for example, Hybrid Hibiscus verities, Double Hibiscus verities, Desi Hibiscus verities, Red Hibiscus verities, Multi-petaled or Double Hibiscus flower verities etc.

Iam crazy after hibis and Adeniums my terrace garden is full of these two verieties only total hibis are 75 nos and Adeniums are 75+nos Still iam collecting more verieties of them Chandan ji i got cranberry Hibiscuss and Mapel leaves Hibiscuss and Chinese Lantern hibis
All are grown in 10 and 12 inch pots pl try these verieties Then ur Hibi garden will be more attractive than any body's it's only my request

sir I've 9 hibiscus plants variegated and non variegated and none of 'em are blooming, idk what i‘m doing wrong the soil mixtures and fertilizer dosage is all according to you. I‘m very disappointed in my hibiscus plants, Please let me know what else am i suppose to do. There is just the leafy growth and the growth of branches but no buds are forming. 😁

Switch from a N ( Nitrogen) heavy fertilizer to sth that is more on the Phosphate and Potassium side like an organic ferilizer with sth like 2% Nitrogen / 7 % Phosphate / 5 % Potassium .
Also keep it a bit ( not too much ) on the drier side when it comes to watering .
That Simulates a drier period for the plant and it is motivated to survive and Produce flowers.
Hope its a Start.

@@astitva1368 yeah you can use that and try to keep it in full sun for the whole day.
Of course you have to keep it in a partially shaded Spot when putting them outside for about a week before exposing it to full sun the entire day .
If you cannot put them outside put it in a sunny Southwest facing Window.
And it is not cold resistant, so 15 °C at night should be okay still.
But remember Phosphate is ( with other factors) a really important Main nutrient .
Furthermore your pH Level ( soil) should be around 6 to 6.5 for These types of plants .
You also need secondary nutrients like Magnesium , Calcium and Sulfur in small doses.
And for trace Minerals, Manganese, Bor, Molybdän, etc.
Try to use soil that has good water retaining capabilities but also a good amount of airation like Coco coir , bark , compost.

@Kaushik Roy, Just after uploading the video, I remembered that one and you are right, I have shown that plant in one of my video about Hibiscus :-( I am also glad to know it's one of your favorites and it's almost similar to No 11. Thank you for your feedback and I would collect more varieties next year and that time, I would make sure to include Spider Hibiscus in the list :-)

All are so marvelous. Nmbr 9 &13 are just awesome. Many of my friends said that yellow double petal hibiscus is difficult to survive,is it so? Only the yellow one dies they say. Moreover I am also not getting one in the nurseries.
@tesha baruah, Glad you liked them and 9 is also one of my favorites :-) Nah, it's not like that. For example, all of my double petaled Hibiscus plants are with me from last 3 years and they are doing well. But I have to agree, they are bit tough to handle comparing to single petaled Hibiscus. As of now, I have 3 double petaled Hibiscus - Red, Orange and Yellow :-)
I have a wine red double, and a peachy double that is a bit lighter than yours.
I really love all but my favourites are 1,2, 8 and 13.

Which variety hibiscus is 3rd plant?? I have the same one... But how much sunlight is needed I can't understand... I see leaves are yellowing and some are burning.... And after the flower blooms within 1hr around 8:30 am the flower decreases its size and at 3 pm the size becomes very small..
