Thanks for showing all these alternative clothes for Smart Doll. She looks amazing in the Journey Girls apparel. One of the great things about cocoa is that there are less staining concerns than the lighter skin tones. It is still possible with the wrong fabrics/ dyes. But I made a dark purple outfit for my cocoa girl. And years later, in the same outfit, it has not stained her. So I do love the cocoa girls for that reason. I am much less skittish. And so true, once you have one smart doll, they need a friend! 😅
@@HollysDollieHobby Yeah. It's really challenging shopping for the lighter tone girls. Prewashing is a great strategy. Some people also use vinegar or something to seal in the color. But I love the cocoa girls! 🥰

I have Bex, several other Girl for all Time dolls, Ruby Red Fashion Friend dolls and that same journey girl fashion pack, never thought to try it any of those outfits on my smarties - thanks for the inspo! I was hoping that would be the case for the Cocoa tone. I still need to soak/wash everything… I just always seem to like the dark clothes! 😅🤦🏻♀️
