I mean, I believe the true stay ending is worse, in all the other ones, they are together in some way, but in the true stay one, puro and Colin are separated, and puro eventually dies due to his lack of a host.
All of the endings are sad to me because no matter which ending you get you end up losing anyway, and well...this was the saddest ending of all. Seeing your own friend betray you and assimilate you.
You don't always lose you can escape the facility as a human with puro or you can tell DR.k to turn you into a white wolf thing and you with leave the facility as a wolf thing with puro
Given that it seems like nearly all the endings end with Colin eating it somehow, this one is almost wholesome. Neither are dead nor are they alive. They have become one greater whole and well... They seem more together and they'll be more capable given the setting. Could be *a lot* worse! Then again I'm a weirdo :3
