ive been a member my whole life...my testimony has always consisted of borrowed light... it has only been till recent that ive started to feel things i always wished to feel. Thank you for posting this video... I can with no doubt say i felt the spirit... This is the true church.. I never wanted to hear anything about god...content with living of the world... Im without words on how i feel now....

When I was like 3 up until recently, whenever someone asked me what my favorite church song was i would say Spirit of God. I lOVE THIS SONG. always have always will.
a few years ago i went on a youtrh trip to kirtland and we got to sing this song and have a testimony meeting one of the nights we were there. i felt like i was in heaven. i am so grateful for this gospel in my life. it has truly saved my life :)
I am a member from Guatemala and this is my favorite hym, everytime i hear it, my heart is in fire, mostly when they sing "and angels are coming to visit the earth" i don't know why, but that happens every single time

Yep. Good point. Im Canadian, but the Gospel was founded in this dispensation, in America - USA. The promised land.
Its totally appropriate for an American flag.
Great video! This is a beautiful arrangement of the song, too. I also like how at the end, in the painting of the Second Coming, the red robe Jesus was wearing gradually changed to white. That was very effective!

Great vid. I love this Hymn and I really feel the spirit when I listen it.
I found it .... well ... funny ? Strange ? To see an "american flag" in this vid.
I am a "french member" and I would have appreciated to see also a french flag, a spanish flag, a south african flag, a chinese flag.
The gospel is all over the world an not especially in USA. For me, the Prophet is not especially american. Our Prophet is the prophet of God. That's all.

I agree with all you have said. Great video and inspiring, but the US needs to realise the rest of the world is not made up of US possessions. I am appalled in Australia when I see something at church commemorating WW2 and all the posters are about US servicemen. I am Australian and proud of it. SLC please note.
