As a current Zr2 owner, i really like the new design. I just hope my local dealer doesn't pull the "Market Adjustment Markup" when i try and get one. Otherwise, I'll keep what i have. Really wish Dealerships played fair....
I agree with you … the 2023 ZR2 sets the new standard in the mid-size segment, though the global Ranger Raptor is a close 2nd. Nissan & Toyota are minor league at this point. The Jeep Gladiator is the odd-ball for me; solid axle purpose vehicle that rides like crap on road, but does very well on rugged terrain for those that muster even 2% of their time away from the pavement.
Great truck! The ZR2 is fantastic but, the cost is as much as (at time) my 2018 GMC Sierra 3500 HD. It would be awesome to take off road and dry camping with. Thanks for the update on the Colorado Brian.
Gm styling is getting better. This looks really good. I have not bought a new Gm for 6 years now. The reason was the stiff seats. I hope they addressed the seat issue!!
I was going to order day one but nobody can tell me if it will have all of its components installed when delivered. Chevy has an ongoing problem with heated/cooled seats and heated steering wheel components delivering them unfinished to customers. This would have been my third Colorado but after buying my 21 Tahoe and no factory brake controller I’m going to look elsewhere until these problems are fixed.
I'm expecting high 50's for the Desert Boss, but hopefully they release some pricing soon. I'm looking in the dealership system and nothing is there yet.
@@BrianMello I'm thinking the zr2 will actually be in the low 60s. Not including market mark ups. Remeber we all thought the silverado zr2 was going to be low 60s and instead came out to be low 70s. (RIDICULOUS)
If GM would’ve kept the diesel in the new Colorado I’d be sprinting to the dealer yelling take my money. But sadly the diesel is not a option for the new 23 models. So I settled for the 22 zr2 bison diesel
He says right out of the starting gate in the beginning that he is always listening to his customers, we never asked for a Stupid electric truck or car in the future
I would have liked a diesel option, but a fully forged bottom end is epic. The truck should handle mods nicely, the aftermarket is going to have a field day
New Nissan Frontier came out for this year. 2023 will have a new Chevy Colorado and a Ford Ranger. 2024 probably has a new Toyota Tacoma dropping. The mid-sized truck market is going to be fun in a year or two!
Stretching the wheelbase another 3" to achieve a better approach angle but hurts the already bad break over angle. Would like some better engine options other than the 2.7
I'd take a 2wd 4 cylinder without a turbo ! But that is not a offering anymore , This is a nice looking truck but looks aren't going to sell me on 1 engine choice ! Bad move Chevrolet.
Mello, something is bothering me about the current generation of Suburbans, Yukons, and Tahoes . The independent rear suspension now has lower control arms . They hover above the ground what looks to be about 4 inches. Even the “off-road “ models. Surely rocks, riding up onto a curb, or driving on a gravel road or mountain with what appears to be small rocks presents a problem for this design…Please give me your thoughts…thanks
Great truck ruined by the bed options. GM shit on their customers by not offering a Long Bed option, a cheaper option truck for those that don't need a half ton, and they can't give the option of a fucking Long Bed for those tradesmen. I guess I'm giving my money to someone else. I would consider a Sierra, but fuck you GM for giving your customers something then taking it away from them the next model year
What do you guys think!? The new ZR2 looks EPIC!
I like the 2022 ZR2 Silverado Much Better
Dude. This thing is the next best thing!! This truck is amazing!! Its Chevy's best idea yet! Thanks Chevrolet! This is the truck I want!
Can GM please make a offroad Blazer/ Jimmy from the zr2 to compete with Bronco
So much want! 😲😍
Absolutely love it. A much more aggressive styling then it appeared to have in the teaser video. Addition of a Trail Boss trim is awesome.
Needs a 5.3 and 3.0 duramax options
I would love it if they made an SUV out of this truck, like the 4 runner? I think it would make a beautiful SUV😊❤️🇺🇸
Right, a Blazer ZR2 with 2 doors or 4 doors.
Wow! Extremely nice. They should have dropped the CT4 Blackwing twin turbo V-6 in the ZR2 Desert Boss.
The styling is much improved. I would say a twin turbo Desert Boss option for 2025
Wow! They knocked it out of the park!
Tailgate beer cooler? I'm sold. Also, cant wait to see that z71 lifted. Looks pretty classy.

Time for a test drive Joe!
@@BrianMello well I have sat in 2022 trucks, and the seat is the same. I might buy the Silverado ev if the seat is fixed. if not I may switch brands.
I hope the engine and transmission are reliable.
Big lie ( WE LiSTEN TO ARE CUSTOMER )if you do then where is regular cab and double cab version of this beast ?🧐 not everybody wants 4door 🤷🏻♂️
The zr2 Colorado bison with a twin turbo like the raptor would be the Jack pot
Would love to see the Colorado get a single cab short bed
Will I be able to get the trail boss with crew cab and long bed
Man I think I might trade my jeep in... Omg! GM finally came to play!
Yessir!

Do you know when the 2023 online build for the Yukon is coming? thanks
Seems to me the Colorado zr2 has a lot more aggressive and wider fender flares compared to the half ton zr2.
It looks way beefier! Same size tires as the Silverado ZR2 so that certainly helps with that appearance. I'm a HUGE fan of this new look!
@@BrianMello oh yeah it looks sharp! It’s almost as if they spent more time on the Colorado zr2 appearance then they did on the half ton zr2
The only thing it didn't hit on my list is a heads up display, awesome truck
I like the zr2 desert boss. Can you give an idea on the price? I’d imagine this model the most expensive.
I'm expecting high 50's for the Desert Boss, but hopefully they release some pricing soon. I'm looking in the dealership system and nothing is there yet.
@@BrianMello Thanks.

FINALLY ! An interior other than black ! YEAH !

Love it! Major improvements in every department. I think I’m gonna get one. But if this is gonna be my daily driver I’m probably get the Z71.
He says right out of the starting gate in the beginning that he is always listening to his customers, we never asked for a Stupid electric truck or car in the future
But will it have a heads up display...? Please say yes.
Wow, from SNL comedian to VP of Chevrolet?! I am impressed.
looks nice, I hope they do ma makeover on the gmc canyon too
It’s coming!
How much importance can you really put on QUALITY CONTROL
Awesome new design, it would be even cooler with a diesel
I would have liked a diesel option, but a fully forged bottom end is epic. The truck should handle mods nicely, the aftermarket is going to have a field day
That's one nice looking truck!!!!!
Brian when will chevy announce prices???please let me know thanks 😊
They didn’t mention mpg but talked about that screen twice
The interior was so dated in the current one, so that's probably why the screen was such a focal point. I'm expecting mid 20's combines for MPG
I hope they relocate the bottom shock mount.
I believe they did, but don’t quote me on it
I'm late, but yes they did
I think they hit a home run with this truck!!! And I would buy one to sit next to my AT4X in my driveway if the wife let me!!!
Nice looking trucks. Very curious about the trail boss version.
i'm worried about the 200-400 lb weight add on and what that will do to fuel economy.
The 2023 colorado ZR2 looks awesome....I guess it's time to trade in my 2022 colorado ZR2 in now.
so when is gmc getting an updated version of this?
An suv version of this would be sure to steal alot of sales from the 4runner
Give it to Scotty Kilmer to test it . He will tell us if it’s a good truck or just another poorly made Chevy .
Now we’re talking
Yessir! Thanks for watching!
Colorado should have had a V6 turbo engine. But like always they fail to raise the bar on combustion engine.
New Nissan Frontier came out for this year. 2023 will have a new Chevy Colorado and a Ford Ranger. 2024 probably has a new Toyota Tacoma dropping. The mid-sized truck market is going to be fun in a year or two!
I must say, GM took no prisoners with this new model. Look out, Tacoma!
Next will be the canyon reveal, mark my words 👍
Can’t wait to see it!
Same here 😂
I'm ready to trade my 2021 Silverado 1500 for the Colorado ZR2. It's about time they got the style and design right.
It might be replacing my Sierra 1500 too, but I want to see what the new Canyon looks like first!
Looks goods but almost like Tacoma and the new frontier had a baby
Very nice; I'm impressed!
I think the 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor still has the ZR2 beat. Overall a good improvement though.
😂😂😂
Ford Ranger Raptor = Dinky 🤣
That thing is so dorky looking! Bahhhaaaa
@@Sir_Mack Agreed! It looks like a kids toy.

Massive L they missed such a big marketing thing they could have called it instead of desert boss desert fox like the old square body sport
It has a sunroof! 😁
Very Cool!
I think they knocked this one out of the park!
Too bad it doesn't come in HD. But it is a sic truck!!!
Very cool!
Home run
Couldn’t agree more!
Sick !!!!!!!!!
Chevy should bring ZR2 instead of Z71 for 2023 into Korea
It looks killer and expensive.
I'd take a 2wd 4 cylinder without a turbo ! But that is not a offering anymore , This is a nice looking truck but looks aren't going to sell me on 1 engine choice ! Bad move Chevrolet.
No 3.6 .... 🤔
Mid size truck that is now wider. It's basically an old silverado.
Looks like the front of Toyota 4Runner.
Let’s go!
Looks like a Tacoma

Disappointed 8 speed transmission. I hope its all new and improved
That was the one thing that confused me. I'm going to assume it's a new trans, because the old 8 speed was kind of a turd
I wonder if this video is bias😂😂😂😂😂
🤤

Just more junk from garbage motors
Match my 684,000 miles on my GMC 2500 HD! And that is with a gas engine!
Bad-Ass! Enough said.
