I used to be around 280-290 Lbs pretty much clinically obese at age 14-16. I decided that the lifestyle was stupid and lazy and if I ever wanted to live up any morsel of dreams I had I would have to change. It wasn’t my body that scared me, but the risks that came with being big. I then took it upon myself to dedicate the next 3 years of my life to controlling how I eat and to get back to working out. I ended up losing 120-130 pounds and i am 17 at 157 (with a beautiful girlfriend I might add). I urge anyone to at least go out and try as it only takes a full 30 days to really get something like this going at a young age. Hope this helps someone start/already doing. you got this.

It seems similar as with purely mental issues troubling me in the past - suicidal thoughts, feeling hopeless about my life, "there is no coming back" kind of thoughts, and I can tell basing on my experiences, I feel like no one can really help this man unless HE helps himself coming to a realization of the consequences of what he is/was doing and actually even WANTING to be helped and eventually overcome his struggles, so the only thing I hope for him is to find the strength to open his eyes and search for a way out of a sinkhole he's unfortunately put himself into, because he probably doesn't have much time.

Nikocado reminds me of a certain king from a very long time ago, who got so fat he couldnt rule his kingdom. After he was deposed, he went to a 'doctor' for help. The doctor sewed his lips shut to get him to stop shoveling mountains of food in his face. Cant remember where i learned the story, but i guess you could say that its just... food for thought😎

The guy narrating this video talks about Nick being 'naturally skinny' but he's made numerous comments about how he's been fat before he lost the weight by going vegan. If that's the case, it's honestly no surprise that he's turning back to old, calorie laden comfort foods. He could eat a shit ton of fruits and vegetables and not lose weight. But you eat junk constantly and even someone exercising all the time is going to put on weight. You can't outrun a bad diet.

I like Sunnyv2, but sometimes he misses the mark and makes some biased or un-misinformed statements. A lot of nikocado's on-camera persona is a character. Obviously the weight gain is a real issue but a lot of the drama in and around his content is staged and planned. Im sure there may be some real issues mixed in with the staged acts but I feel its a pretty important thing to touch on with regards to his whole situation.

watching poor people and feeling good doesn't mean you think you're better than them, it means you think you're the same, but desperately WANT to be above them. If you truly believed you were better than them, remembering this fact would bring you neither joy nor pain.
I like to draw. When someone who doesn't draw says "wow, you're really good," looking at a quick sketch, I'll appreciate the thought, but this isn't like an accomplishment, so all you're really telling me with your compliment is you don't draw very often. However, if I get a compliment on my drawing from a fellow artist who's skill I respect, it would mean a lot more. I don't feel like I'm at their level, but the way they're talking to me makes me feel like I could be.
All this is to say I don't think Niko was conceted when he said the thing about loving to watch poor people struggle. He's OBVIOUSLY struggling a lot himself, but his traits swapped. His old issues were probably largely financial, and not physical. So now that his financial problems are gone, and it has come at the cost of his physical wellness, admitting this would mean he is left with nothing. He has trapped himself in a neverending hole of suppression and copium. It truly is a tragedy.
He literally did the math on camera and found he'd have to have a 2 year journey of weight loss to have any hope of returning to his old weight. Two years with terrible health, no 'good' food, and no money to show for it. It's not hard to see why he took the easy way out.
I think the worst part, from a concerned viewer's perspective, is how absolutely hopeless it feels. Niko is obviously not stupid, he's gotta be self aware to some extent. He is killing himself though, and doing it in such an undignified way. Any arguments along the lines of burning bright and short rather than long and dim fall short themselves, considering the massive personal toll this experience has taken on him. The words I'd use to describe Nikocado would be indignant, pitiful, tragic, naive, and hopeless
