I don't know about others but I hate Elena because she pretends to be a good person and then has her brother kill kol which in turn killed thousands of innocent vampires ( they could have had someone they loved like you know how Stefan loved Caroline and Damon loved Elena) for a cure that she didn't take. She and the scooby doo gang killed Finn when only klaus wronged them. Like the villains are supposed to be bad that's why we support them in tv shows because they good at doing the worst things without feeling, Elena is supposed to be a good person but she only pretends to be one.
I hate her because she self righteous and a hypocrite. She judges the originals, Katherine, Damon and everyone for doing harm but she helped murdered kol to wipe out an entire line of vampires just because she couldn’t handle being one herself. She daggered Rebekah after she opened up to her and murdered two of her brothers but then Elena had the nerve to play the victim on why Rebekah hates her. Elena was horrible and rude to everyone when her humanity was off, especially to Caroline and Elena flat out refused to apologize to her because she didn’t want to feel bad about it. Elena acts like she’s a good person when she’s really a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
