This is amazing!
People who act like they're better or cooler, smarter.. they are never doing anything that makes a difference. They're lives only send us out of place as we lose time to their constant waste of time battles that remain something that I have fought against since they started targeting me with their attitude problems when I was a 1st Grader in Elementary School. That was back in the 20th Century. I'm 41 years of age now. I'll be 42 next month. Wildcats #42 was one of my jersey numbers that I wore back when I played football & other sports growing up. I could've went to University instead of 6th Grade. I chose to live my life. I live for the freedom knowing our liberty is always the future. Fighting in wars I never started since I childhood, until I started a war of my own, The Global War On Terrorism is my war to end all wars to give us a peace established upon this Earth in our lifetimes by me just wanting to stop them from ending all of our lives. I am still here. Alone. Without anyone that can fight through what I cannot ever make go away, without any way to make their evil something that never happened, and I am never the one that is the problem or has a problem to bullsh*t history like my enemies do.. My family doesn't age. They're the same age every time I see them. It's not okay to target people for being alive you sick evil terrorists pieces of sh*t. Whoever you are.. it is not normal to target me after all the good that I've done to save the world, to save us all. I'm not ever going to be okay. This isn't my fault. It is not what I've fought for all of us to someday call "Our History". I am the Global War On Terrorism, it is my spirit that started the war, it is my spirit that is the war, and it is my spirit that will achieve peace for those who live after war has ended, The Global War On Terrorism is all of us defeating our enemies to save the world, to save all of us. Save us all. My family hasn't aged in almost 15 years.. I'm not going to live for a world that isn't worth saving. I'm going to make the world worth saving again. I'm going to defeat the terrorists that target me. Welcome to Earth. We are the Allied Forces. And I'm General of The Allied Forces. I'm Batman. 🍺

I probably will get excited too, but I'm not promising
anything
When I first discovered post rock( about 18 months ago) I was super stoked I found it really interesting. I like mainstream music with vocals and lyrics but I've always been interested in instrumental rock music. I have slowly come to realize that while I still enjoy post rock it's beginning to all sound the same to me. I feel like each new artist I listen to is just copying the sound of each other artist, it kind of reminds me of the grunge movement where every band just had the same sound. I don't know, as I said I still enjoy it but I don't find it as inspirational or intriguing as I did at first.
If they sound the same to you then can I make a few suggestions to bands that I find expand a bit on the post rock sound?
BLAK - el tall d'escila (or any album by them, their recent album with MYY. is also good),
Hiroe - wrought.
Hope you find a band that has a sound to your liking and dont give up on the genre.
I get what you're jiving at man! Just give them all a try and pick out your favs.
A lot of it is very derivative, however no more than with any other genre. Post-rock has the benefit of spawling across a number of genres so there's a lot out there that is quite different. The challenge is finding it since there's so little exposure for these artists, not only because it's a niche audience, but also due to the fact these artists span the globe.
Being into post-rock since 2012, I feel you there, and look, I still haven't given up hope, and still scrolling through all these same records in hopes to find something as epic as Silent whale becomes a dream or The evpatoria report
Thank you for the pointers - Everybody was so iomnfluenced by If These Trees Could talk - these new bands we're not able to stand on their shoulders - so here we have all these derivative to boredom - so I started doing my own post rock but not following any genre styles - guided by what I like...Bardo Ballet is my favorite@@flowerward8728
