I'm learning to bake too! I'm 13 yrs old. I love to bake while listening to music, but I can't do it when I'm following a youtube video, that's why I'm writing it all down :D
I'm really glad so many young people are willing to try cooking, don't let other people discourage you from doing what you love. Age doesn't matter when you're cooking as long as you do it while supervised, keep it up!

Just came across this. Love how you did a notebook instead of binder! Handwritten is so much more personal. A great memento for years. I am going to switch to a journal recipe book so my granddaughter will have something that is personal of mine. Love how you set up your pages! Beautiful! Thank you so much for this wonderful video!

Next year I would love to start cooking more complex things but I find the best way for me to cook is following a step by step process. So being able to make my own recipe book will be super handy.
Great video I love the personal touch!! That is a great idea, writing your receipts down in your book in your handwriting is a nice gift also for people. Sorry to hear about your Mom. My mom also passed away a few years ago and I did the same as you never wrote down her recipes but UA-cam also helped me find my mom's recipes as well.

Sorry to hear about your mom 💕 I too, love to cook ☺️ I am self-taught, my mom never really taught us how to cook growing up (she's still here, but cooking was never her thing, most things came out of a box growing up lol).
Edit- all of these dishes look so tasty! I will have to check some of them out.
And the smudge! Nice save haha. I'm a righty, but I smudged some calligraphy in my April bullet journal page- ended up patching it with some white paper haha.

This is a great idea for family recipes!
I’m stuck in the first page every time I began to write a food recipe. U r so talented. Maybe left handed people more gifted.

You have the prettiest handwriting. I could NEVER. I need a book I can take the pages out and put it in my cricket to get pretty writing! The whole book is gorgeous. Good job!
P.s. sorry about your mom. My mom passed away as well. Luckily she taught me everything she knew from an early age so I can cook like her🖤

Actually this is my first time make a cookbook for my mom before Christmas time
