I knew Erik would be a good fit for Skid Row. He was great in H.E.A.T and demonstrated how versatile his voice is and now he’s doing it again here. I have a lot of respect for him.

I'll admit to not being the biggest Skid Row fan in existence but I've watched a few videos so far and, from what I can see, Erik sounds pretty damn good. He's not Bas but he's got the range to do the songs justice. I really don't see what there is to complain about.

Erik was so good in Heat. If SR plays their cards right with a new kick ass album they are back in the game.

Dude, and the band are tight a f, love the way they command their audience, just like the old days, when this song was first released back in the mid to late 80's I remember I was in my youth, well late 20's, now I'm pushing 60, at 59 wondering wtf all the time has gone.

If you don't know his last band H.E.A.T you have to check them out. in my opinion by far are the best melodic hard Rock band out there... I would put eclipse second.... Erik has added a new life to skid row by far!🤘
I can appreciate Erik. But Sabastian was the man in the day. He had pipes and he knew how to use them. Plus, had kick ass hair, the kind I wish I had.

I can appreciate Erik. But, no one can replace Sabastian when he was in his prime.
Dave and Snake say that Sebastian is too hard to work with, but they are the ones who can't keep a lead singer. Erik is singer number five. Yeah, somebody's hard to work with, but it ain't Sebastian.

So please tell me if im wrong , They want someone WHO sounds like Sebastian Bach so instead of getting their heads out of their asses and just tell him to come and we talk and get over the bullshit and kick ass like we did in the old days they go with a sound a like . Id like to hear them with good sound. They forgot to turn the guitar players amp on or something. They sound awesome when you do hear it.
WOW singer is struggling in these early vids. I will say he pulled it together on the most recent vids! Glad to see him tearing it up. I'm actually excited for skid Row now. Can't wait to hear the full cd.

I agree with everything before this dude, I think this guy changes that finally, none before even came close, but he is as close as has ever been or gonna be, and I think it is a good thing, and I am very much team Bach , and haven’t cared at all since him, but heard new track, and enough on UA-cam to know that this guy might not be Sebastian, but (he is definitely their version of Arnell from journey) , mark my words , they start playing bigger shows and will start getting taken more seriously soon,I literally news listening on Eddie trunk not to long ago talking to one of them being interviewed, and I couldn’t have cared less, but I think they sound good with this kid, if Bach ain’t gonna ever be welcome, then this is the best they will ever be again, I will go see them now if come close to where I live , and I probably wouldn’t have before.

Singer sounds rough. Solo sounded rough. Overall performance was rough. And the crowd has about the same energy as blood fart.
Snake BUTCHERED that solo… couldn’t tell if pedal board was messed up or he just lacks the youth to “squawl” the beginning of the lead. Guess adding a bridge riff mid solo is a new alternative? LOL
He needs to realize that the average age of the people in the crowd are near 50. So the “jump jump” isn’t gonna happen.

They are 50, not 100. Erik brings that “youth gone wild” vibe back that was missing since mid 90’s. The band needed this infusion. They have have the chance to become one of greatest rock comeback stories. Let’s celebrate watching Erik make audiences jump for joy and even reminding 50 year olds that they still got plenty of life ahead too :)

Voice and presence… Falls short IMO.
Bring Bach the one and only. It’s not about money, but about doing what’s right for the fans.
It only falls short in the minds of some...and in my opinion, only then because of the weight of years. Given a fair shake and some time, he's got the pipes and presence to do the job well.
It took 30 years to find yet another guy that cant Do it. Face it guys. The only thing more painful than skid row not finding a new sebastian bach is realizing that there isn't one. Its over guys!
Far from over, but 10 months have passed and you do realize they only had 2 rehearsals before this and and five months after Eriks Cancer treatments, so there's that.

Seems like these newer generation rockers lack that “it” factor of being a cool rockstar. They have the chops but it’s not raw. But hey, it is what it is.

I'm trying to like this guy, but but can't get there. He sings fairly well. But he has no charisma or swagger. There are karaoke singers nobody will ever hear of that can sing at least as well. Not busting his singing chops - he can sing. I'm sure he's one hell of a nice guy too. But this is Skid Row fer chrissakes. He is not fronting the band behind him. He's just singing their tunes. He looks out of place and gets too winded from not managing his breathing. Bach has soaring vocals. You can't have soaring vocals having to take a breath in the middle of trying to hold a note. Hopefully, these are just growing pains and I will be proved wrong. I would love to see him succeed with this band.
Honestly, man, I think if you listen to some of the songs on his channel and give him time, you'll be pretty impressed. Even getting over leukemia treatments, he's got an amazing voice and can belt it out. It's only going to get better. 👍🏼 It's hard to fill the shoes of somebody like SB, but I think he'll grow into it.

Erik Gronwall's Vocals can't touch Sabastian Bach! I have to differ in my opinion, just like Geoff Tate not being with Queensryche, there is NO SKID ROW WITHOUT SEBASTIÁN BACH!!! They should have changed the name of the Band! Todd LA Tore is a great Vocalist, but it's NOT Queensryche! Van Halen, Iron Maiden and AC/DC are the ONLY Bands to ever survive losing/replacing a Lead Vocalist!!!

Man! I know perfectly well the problem he had in 2021, to be exact he had an acute form of lymphocidal leukemia, and I know perfectly well what it means to fight for life, I came out unscathed 4 years ago from a heart attack and now I'm all "rebuilt" with ailment in the coronary area and I'm not ashamed to write it, then it's up to you to believe or not believe, in fact I no longer have the size and physique that allow me to I train at a competitive level and I can no longer "give it up" with my Hard Rock band, and he shouldn't be risking to be successor frontman .. But apart from this detail I was not referring to the disease OBVIOUSLY !! first because he has always been thin, he has never had the size of a Sebastian Bach frontman, then because ... I wanted to mean by the word "too skinny" the set of his characteristics which in my opinion exclude him from this legendary band, so same opinion for Adam Lambert of the "current" Queen, he has a remarkable voice !! but 0 experience in the field of the 80s and this is fundamental.
So the gist of the matter would be: that nowadays all the "new" voices are all similar thanks to the television adoptions etc .. so once you have a remarkable voice the the rest doesn't count anymore, so about ERIK GRONWALL ok he has a pretty good voice but for the rest for me who come from those years he is a classic new generation who was "lucky" in "THIS FIELD" and I don't interested in the successes he had as a child and in 2010/2014, I told you, nowadays everything is easier with a 10% / 20% commitment and lucky, the rest is done by modern civilization and the right "pushup" to right moment. before he was sweaty and deserved the fame, what I see today are only smoke and shadows of what was the real music in the golden years, obviously for the tone of his voice I have nothing to say. 🤘🏻🤘🏻

I agree, he's got high pitched singing voice but no power behind it. It's pretty much impossible to find a proper replacement for Sebastian in his prime though.
