hello im just asking if it suppose to screw in the ground? im thingking to istall on our grass and i dont want to dig a hole and put a cement for tha post.
Be careful using any hollow cored lumber for outdoor projects, if water gets inside it will rot from the inside out. And since there is less material, it will become un structurally sound really fast.
Great News! We started rolling out to select dealer locations in California, with MANY more to follow across the U.S. and Canada. We'll be posting new locations to our social platforms as they are added to our distribution network. You can also find LINX Pergola available at our online partner, www.decksdirect.com. @@Popcornbeetle People all over the world were already building entire cathedrals thousands of years ago, I'm sure a piece of metal connecting 3 pieces of wood isn't like some recent breakthrough invention you could still get a patent on.
This company has a BIG quality control problem. I bought four 6"x6" lynx tri-fit corner couplers. 3 of the 4 did not have sun shade holes drilled in them! I had to shop at multiple stored (100 miles in all) to find 3 which had been manufactured properly but could only find 2 corner couplers. I had to drill the 4 holes in the last one myself. Conclusion: CHECK EVERY BOX YOU BUY TO MAKE SURE THERE IS NOT A QUALITY PROBLEM. I then found out (after the fact) that the sunshade I wanted to buy for a 10'x12' pergola where $450 (it has to be custom made) whereas if I constructed a 12'x12' pergola was only $130. So a redesign of the landscaping was required. Then I bought the 12'x12' sun shade and found that the mounting brackets included are NOTHING like the ones shown in this video and will not hold the weight of the sun shade. I will have to make my own now. What a joke. If you call for customer support they are only open Monday thru Wednesday - not during the weekend or other days where the average homeowner who is installing this thing needs help or has to report quality problems can get any response. Very dissatisfied.
Great vid - looking for a bartop from lynx - any videos on that?

What is the time line of availability for the LINX and STIX systems?
How come no one , address the mount /screwing to the floor or concrete
You do not screw your posts to the ground or cement. You think it's windproof ?
Where did the 6x6 re made post come from? They aren’t solid.
What kind of anchoring do you recommend for the posts? Also, are the Stix timbers pressure tested or rated?

What's the size of that one and does it comes with the wood too or is just the brackets? How much for the one on video with wood?
My deck is 12x10. The wood posts are easy to adapt for my deck... Can you get the sunshade in custom dimensions?
Yes custom size sunshades will be available.
Would you all recommend 4x4 as well? Do you think 4x4 will not be as sturdy as 6x6?
Presumably you’d stain your timbers before assembly?

what is the contact info and how much are we talking about for corner brackets and is it any cheaper than the tojo bracket kits
What kind of posts are you using?
this project build used 6x6 STIX timber (stixtimber.com) which is made from Western Red Cedar
Can I make a wood deck under it
I need a pergola to be about 12x20
Me too. Do you offer a "T" bracket for 6x6 lumber?
Is it cheaper than TojaGrid ?
Hi Bernie
By the time you add all this up, Toja has kits that come out cheaper.
Vevor has the best price I've seen. (Amazon)
Is this Toja Grid copy?
Sure looks like it
If it's cheaper and just as sturdy then who cares? Toja grid is pretty expensive.
@@PongFu some people respect innovation and a company’s IP. If tojagrid doesn’t have a patent, then others can copy away.

Can’t do it. I don’t have enough baseball caps for my friends.
Looks great. Wishing you guys a successful launch even with COVID so I can get one of these bad boys in my new home.
Same as Toja Grid
Where can I purchase the 6x6 stix timber? Homedepot doesn't have them and your web page doesn't have a link
I found them Home Depot online.
Really?? How practical is this for the average homeowner, having crew of 5? It would be nice to see how it could be done with a couple of guys.
This looks like an inferior copy of the Toja Pergola system.
why because it doesn't have the cut out name on the brackets ? much more affordable than T G
@@poppy3026 I looked at pricing they are similar. Right now Toja has 20% plus free shipping and no taxes since it is coming from Canada.
@@guam58 How'd you get 20% off?
@@poppy3026 Precisely why I don't want to go with Toja. That laser cut logo cheapens the overall look.
Where can I order this what's the name
Toja grid copy
